Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well...

Just real quick, I would appreciate your feedback
on this... the information will be beneficial to
everyone I think.

When you are visiting a site, which do you prefer?

A video or copy salesletter?

You can just complete the poll above with your answer
but if you'd like to leave a comment below... by all means,
go for it!

Again, I do appreciate you taking the time to do this! Thanks!

Video..hands down. It creates an element that seems to relate to us...for some weird psychological reason.

Copy - I just prefer to read. It's just the way I learn and take things in.

I also surf the net whilst watching tv and whilst the rest of the family are asleep - text means I don't disturb anyone else.

    Ken nailed it. And:

Are the people in this forum your target audience? If not, then the poll results may be next to worthless.
Even if this forum is brimming with your target audience, the poll may still be next to worthless. Sometimes what people say and what they actually do are two different things.

Personally, I 100% prefer text. But that means absolutely squat to you. The only way for you to know what puts more money in your pocket is to test it.

I prefer when they use both but if I had to choose it would be video.

However I can't do with long winded BS stories told in video like you see with a lot of Clickbank launches lately.

...Then again I ain't their target audience so the product isn't right for me anyway.

Video is best used on a sales page when it's actually giving you a demo of the product. A lot of times I scroll down the page till I find the video demo just so I know what it does and if I need it

I prefer to read. But why not give them both options?

In my experience, people are lazy... no offense to anyone!

People would rather watch something than have to read, especially if they are confronted with a ten-mile-long sales page. Video is much easier to deal with, I think. The only concern I have about video are the auto-start ones. I HATE THOSE. If I click onto your website and the video starts automatically, I am frequently blasted and must scramble to turn down my speakers... not a good first experience with your website, eh? I would prefer to choose to start the video myself.

Typically, when I come up on one of those sites, I turn the video on and then start skimming the rest of the sales page while listening. Works for me!
