Is there a way to "duplicate" the very same Wordpress configuration to a new site?

Folks,
I spent tons of time on one of my WP blogs, including theme customization, plugins, css customize etc...
I would like to use the VERY SAME modifications I made to the old site - with the new site.
Is there a way to simply duplicate my very own customization somehow?
Thanks!
Sam

There is a Wordpress plugin called WP Twin that does exactly what you need.

Hey Sam! Another way is to do it manually like Andyhenry suggested above.

Seriously, if you use Wordpress regularly I highly suggest getting the product. $97 is peanuts compared to the time and hassles it will save you. It's not only good for duplicating sites it also backs them up in one click so if anything were to happen to your site and/or server, you could have that same site back up and running with the click of a button - plugins, posts, everything.

I guess it's a question of how much is your time worth to you?

You can do this yourself really quickly.

    Back up your database.

    Backup your files.

    Import your data base.

    Copy your files.

    Done.

    It take 2 minutes.
    Signature

    nothing to see here.

Clone the existing sites and delete all the posts and pages.

If you have WHM cpanel you can create skeleton directories with files you always want installed so that every time you create a new hosting space it gets all your plugins etc. copied automatically. For cloning a site you just need to copy the files and database, so make a clean site and back it up then add your content.

Yep WP Twin does exactly that. It allows you to clone any wp blog in just a few clicks.

I love WPTwin but on 2 different occasions, I get registration/validation errors (I am using correct email address). Both occasions were on weekends and it was Monday before they got it taken care of. Wasted my time off.

It is simple to use and works great when there are no registration problems.

Another option (free) is to use the Duplicator WordPress plugin.

It's still a beta, and while I've had some minor problems with it, I've used it to successfully clone a few sites.
