How to contact a domain Owner

I recently picked up a domain and would like to attempt to sell it to other owners that have similar domain names.

I just registered porncourt.com and was thinking about offering it to the owners of pornking, pornqueen, pornkingdom (part of a kingdom) or pornave, porndrive, pornblvd (addresses) etc.

Is there any proper way to contact them through email? Obviously I want to come off as professional as possible. Any templates?

Was this an expired domain? Or was it one that was open and available for anyone to register? That you said you "just registered" it suggests to me that it was open and available for anyone to register.

If that's the case, why do you think they hadn't already registered it? If they could have grabbed it for $10 before now, why would they pay you more for it now?

On the other hand, if it's an expired domain, then you need to check and see what kind of backlinks were coming to it, how much traffic it gets and so on. And perhaps build a site that targets the keywords that the previous site targeted so that you can hold on to any traffic and make it into a site someone might be interested in purchasing.

Dan also writes content for hire, but you can't afford him anyway.

Whats the difference between expired and available. Obviously if its expired its going to be available. Also, there are some names people glance over. I have at least 5 others I found this way, so it's not something new. Previously I sold in forums, but I know I can get a better vaue if I sell directly to people. Porn + word domain is huge business.

Well, you would run a keword search in Google in order to grab some relevant domains, next you head over and check out their data as provided in the whois data base.

That should provide you with the desired email addresses.

I realize this. I was asking how I should approach them through email. What info should I include?

Were you able to contact the owners of those other sites? If not PM me and I can point you to somewhere you could probably contact them.

I haven't tried yet because I am asking what I should say in the email. No one has answered my original question...

In this case he's referring to available sites as those that have never been registered before. In that case, you're going to have to wonder why those who already have those other domains have never tried to register this one.

In the case of an expired domain, someone once owned it and then let it go. In which case you have to think about the other points brought up, in terms of existing linking, and wonder why it was let go or not sold to begin with.

You just visit WhoisXY.com and give that person's domain name in search box. Then you can know the contact details and everything. You can contact him easily..
