I don't set my starting goals that high. My first goal is to reach $50/day steady income.

I hope to reach $10/day.

Seems you are quite close to $1000, what do you do?

When I first started it was $5 a day, then it became $10 a day. Right now its $25 a day, which I seem to hit about 16 to 17 days out of the month.

My ultimate long term goal? I would like to make $75-$100 a day with my online dealings. I will get there eventually. It's a long road ahead, but I'll make it. And I'll like it!

The maximum what I can earn due to honest dedication. That's my target.

It's easy to target a daily goal, but hard to achieve it. This is typically a field that isn't very steady. So, one week you may have $0, and the next $2000. It's really about overall income as opposed to daily.

I'd like to be making $10,000 a day, personally. That's enough to be what I'd consider moderately wealthy.

When you are beginning it is best to concentrate on a small daily amount averaged over the month & then try and beat it every month.

My current monthly goal is £20,000 (approx $30,000) per month and I hope/think this is achievable within 3 months.

When I first started AM I read a lot on this forum (so you can see the date I started) but never posted until today - Its been a long fun journey, long may it continue (as i am fully aware it may not).

Right now my daily target is $10 a day. I'm about halfway there. I'll double that when I reach it and so on and so on. My long term goal is $1K per day. That is years away so I'm not worried too much about that. Just concentrating on making small steps each day.

I would like to be making $5K per month within 5 months. At the moment I am making about $50 per day which works out at $1500 per month. This is just enough to cover my basic bills but with being pregnant I want to be putting some money aside and having enough so that I am financially stable and happy when the baby arrives in 5 months!

I am hoping to reach my goal in less than that time and am doing everything to build up my business from scratch after I had to start everything over becuase of a paypal chargeback a few months ago.

I went from zero per day to $50 per day within a few weeks and am seeing it grow steadily!

I'm making around 75 per day. But I want to make that 75 through product sales and helping others instead of the B2B stuff I do now.

I am at 600$ per day and will get to 1000$ soon..

My current goal is $10 per day. My next goal post is $50. I am working on both online and offline to make this happen. My long term is to do everything online.

I haven't even made my first sale online though my goal in the long run is 3k daily at least but heck i would be happy with 50 a day now. any tips on getting my first sale this week? i have been trying article marketing and classified ads for about a week and a half or so now with no results. any tips would be highly appreciated.

My next goal is $333/day, and after that I'm looking to hit $666/day. I'm hoping to hit my next goal in the next three months, with my $666/day goal within 6 months!

I am currently making an average of $100 per day from the services that I provide. I am thinking of leveraging it and grow it to at least $500 per day.

My target is $3,333.33 profit per day.

My goal is $100/day! I am pretty sure to achieve that soon!

As a newbie in the past, I was shooting for $5 per day. Now I'm off banking ~$50-$100 per day and I'm going for $1K per day. That goal is going to be hard to reach, but it's definitely possible.

Well, I have a full time job, perhaps in future I would be able to quit my job, untill then my target is to get just 20 a day after that, it will be at least 1000. Thanks

My first target when I started my online earnings was to reach and make around 10$ a day, but it turns out that I earn 10$ in every two days, which makes it $5 a day. I was happy at that time since it was my first time to earn money through online marketing. As of the moment, I have my full time job and I always set time for my online earnings. Although I don't set any amount for my goals yet because there are times that work from the office requires extra time and will disrupt my schedule for my online. But during break and vacations, my target is to make 20-25$ a day, just to set a viable rate then will increase my targeted income from there. When I will be working full time in the IM world, I will set my goal higher probably $500-$1000 a day or every other day will do.

My target is enough to quit my jobs. That would be about 80 dollars a day =]

I am making about ten dollars a day right now, but I have to work a little to get it, by writing articles or doing gigs on Fiverr. My goal is fifty a day, and along with my other income, that would make me relatively rich.

Since I'm just starting, my realistic short term [read 2011] goal is just between $5-10 a day as i honestly don't know what I'm doing LOL. To be absolutely frank, I'd be happy with an extra $500-1000 bucks a month. All I'm after is a source of relatively passive income to cover rent.

Once I reach that, then it'll be exponentially increased to about 50-100/day etc...

Long term, I'd be quite content to make about $300-500/day, I'm not desperate or hungry for money hehe.

I think the key is breaking it down into small manageable projects or income streams . The way I figure it is this;

20 websites making $50 each a day. This is something I personally think I can manage. Before I made the mistake of buying loads and loads of domains till I had too many websites that I could not manage any of them properly.

$50-$100 Per day is most peoples goals which is normally enough for someone to quit and do this full time.

If I could make $160 per day I could give up my day job. I am a very long way from that currently!

only business owners can set up a target income..salaried cannot as they have fixed income coming every month

Your goal is way too high yet that is not impossible if you are planning to work it out for 12 months. For me, I don't really have a fixed figure for my goal since I don't want to limit my self's capacity to earn higher that what i already expect.

I started out 3 years ago with my own Online Marketing company and now earn between 1-2k a week, took a lot of hard work and determination but got there in the end. Im current setting up another company so I've not got all my eggs in one basket.

Mine is definitely to get to $100/day. That'd handle my living expenses, let me pay off my debts, and let me start saving an investing at the rate I'd like.

What's holding you back from reaching it sooner? There are tons of offers out there that could easily do that for you and more. Are you working with a network?

My plan is to make as much as possible and reinvest as much as possible.

As they say the more traffic you get, and converting traffic the more you make, once you have stabilized your revenue for a certain traffic, then you can scale it up to required levels

Mine was $330, I reached it for a while, but the Google panda update has decreased my earnings to less than a third which makes me sad Hopefully I can reach that again =)

Good question and interesting to see people's responses:

When we (hubby and I) first started off in April, our goal was to make some sales of any value (we are doing affiliate marketing). Our first sales came in May but were very sporadic. In June they increased, so around late June-early July we made it our goal to have on average one sale/day, again of whatever value. Since around mid-July this goal has been accomplished, and we're now averaging about 3-4 actions/day, with some days even at 8-10.
So at this stage we've introduced our first financial goal which is to make a consistent $40/day on average. That would cover our monthly business bills and living expenses (we're not paying rent at the moment, as we're living with a relative, but once things pick up we want to move to our own place).
We're not there yet, as we usually make anything between $10 and $35 a day, although there have been a couple days this month when we made $60 or $70 in one day.

Our ultimate goal (which will probably take several months at the very least) is to hit the $200-$300 a day mark, and why not more?

My goal is to make $1 more than I made yesterday. Anything above that is just gravy.

I started my goals small, and have worked my way up from there. First goal was to make $1 period. Then $5/day, $10/day,$20/day etc. Currently, I'm aiming to hit $30 a day.

This really is the beauty of making money online. As opposed to a job, the income is limitless.

Read an interesting book which had the idea of earning $1 every day.....earn $1 using some kind of auto earning website or book. Do this every day and see what happens. Do the maths....its over $66k a year

My short term goal over the next two months is bringing home net = $8K each month ($250 a day) Next 5 years = 1M a year (83K each month). After my two month goal is met, I'm going to be investing in a Internet Marketing coach. Sky's the limit after 5 years...

Minimum 10$ per day with my writing jobs though its not so high but i am happy in that. If i have invested in forex business then it can give more income but recently has stopped working there.

I've made as much as $200 in a day, but I don't really have a target. I have more long-term goals e.g $200 per week, $500 per week, whatever I feel like.

I'm really impressed by the varying degrees of goals on the thread. For me, I currently need to make about $200.00 a day before taxes in order to pay the bills. So when I can do that with my IM I will be able to quit the "day job" and focus full time on IM.

The good thing is that by the time I Get there I'll be able to scale up like a mad man.

I always think big and our target is the same, 1000$ plus a day for the next 12 months, on this month my target is 100$ a day. I like breaking down my goal into smaller ones so that I can monitor it closely.

My daily target income would be $1 million dollars a day. I know it could be doable if I put my butt into gear....

A goal / dream without a plan is just that. I noticed some of those in this post. From someone who makes a full time living online via my company, I can only suggest that you should make your income goals "realistic" in comparison to the products and services that you have available or plan to create, the prices that you charge for them, and the amount of marketing that you put in place in order to make your sales goals a reality.

Quick example:

If you want to earn $100 per day with your own product,
then that product should be either priced at $100 and make sure
that you sell 1 each day. (Or 4 at $25, 10 at $10, etc)

Sound simple but that's all there is to it.

My target to 2015 is 200K a year

My current goal is to earn around £1,000 per month, which breaks down to around £33 / $55 daily.

Once I hit that I will move on to trying to acheive the next target of £1,500 per month and so on.

You must be doing quite well in your online business. It will be good if you would share with the rest of warriors here on the business model you are adopting.

I am averaging $200-$300 per day, and will be scaling in the next 3 months or so via outsourcing. I will try to see if I am able to reach your $1,000 a day.

I am into creating my own products and I believe it is the route to long term success as long as you have the determination to push yourself to succeed in this online business.

Right now, I am earning $ 30 per day. My goal is $ 100 per day.

My daily targeted income from internet is 20$ per day from my online work which i get mostly from my work. Its an average amount.

Closest short-term goal? $25/day. I'm currently at around $14/day.

Long-term goal? $700/day. That works out to over $250,000 a year. :-D

1 Million a day is doable... You just have to keep turning out different products that sell like hot cakes, and laugh all the way to the bank.... But, like I said before, I would need to put my butt into gear first...

I am a little over the $600 per day mark. My goal is $2500/day but I measure more monthly than daily. This is a combination of online/offline services.
