Hi, I'm only relatively new on the Warrior Forum and I'm learning quite a lot (thanks everyone).

I bought a WSO offer from a fellow warrior. I wanted to learn what types of things people are selling, what content is offered and how well it does before I create one of my own. I chose a product that relates to my own particular niche because I figured it was something I know a little about.

The content of this particular WSO was awful. Not only was it highly inaccurate and woefully incomplete, it was almost insulting with how little information was offered after paying money to read it.

Should I:

a) give honest feedback to the low quality of this WSO and demand my money back - and then risk the wrath of more established warriors for being so outspoken

b) pretend it didn't happen and just don't buy anything else from that Warrior again?

Your help in this is really appreciated.

Lee

How about asking nicely for your moneyback via a PM?

"Quality" is sometimes in the eye of the beholder. Your standards may be much higher than other buyers who may be quite satisfied.

But if you feel the need to critique the product, I've also seen "polite" negative comments in a WSO thread that were helpful, both to potential buyers and to the product owner.

No need to be mean, in a PM or in a post.

That's what I was planning to do too - so thanks for posting about your experience.

Based your feedback on facts, then no one can legitimately attack you.

Seems simple to me: Somebody sold you a faulty product and you are due a refund. Getting the refund is another story, but your feedback could prevent other people from buying the same faulty product...

Thanks for your responses. I really appreciate your feedback.

I don't believe my standards are set too high when it comes to a product like this. I simply expected the product would live up to the sales pitch.

      It didn't.

I'll be sure to create a politely worded critique as a form of feedback so as not to offend the product creator - but hopefully to point out where it might be improved upon.

      Thanks again

I hear you. I've experienced buying products with sales letters promising something remarkable and only ended up being a guide for very new people.

If the price is relative to the amount of information I gain, I'll never ask for refund, but if it's something I can never use only because I don't learn anything new, I'd have to ask for refund. But I do it politely saying "it's probably for other people, but not for me, please disable its license from your end if you can, I will also delete it from my hard drive".

I think this would be a great way to handle it.

That's one of the great things about purchasing online business materials.

99% of the time you have a money-back guarantee from the...

    - marketer

    - The payment processor

    Last resort...

    - Your credit card company

If you feel you've been cheated, get a refund.

    Hope this helps!!!

I would send a PM to the person and ask for a refund.

In addition, I would let the person know why you want the refund, so he/she can improve upon the product offered.

Leave feedback in the wso and pm the seller. However, it's possible that it was a case of you expecting too much (or the sales copy writer getting a bit too carried away) though that's up to you to decide.

If the product is cheap, i usually don't bother asking for a refund as i prefer to put things behind me as soon as possible and focus on the road ahead.

If the product is expensive, then your time may be worth it.

But yes, giving a polite critique shows great sportsmanship as you will be helping the product owner improve on his business.

If you only bought it to see what type of content this person was selling then your purchase has fulfilled its purpose. If you already know the information then of course you wont learn anything new from the product.

Is it fair to buy a product to check out your competition then ask for a refund?

At least you know you can put out a product of a higher standard. Maybe even outsell this guy.

Just put it down to competition research since thats really why you purchased the product.

    Just my 2 cents.
