Making $1000+/Day As an Affiliate...

What are your ideas/experience on how to make make $1000+/day as an Affiliate?

What I think...

You have to look around for offers and niches that you can turn into campaigns that have the potential to make you $500-$1000 per day single handedly. Once you choose an campaign and a niche, there are 2 ways you can go, lots of volume or high conversion. Volume means to have lots of traffic but little (yet profitable) conversion. Conversion means to go for very targeted keywords with high conv but little volume. Once you choose a strategy, figure out how to make it sell and click for users to get conversion as high as possible. Next run the offer through different PPC networks ranging from AdWords, AdMob, Facebook, AdBrite, etc. Test and then once the campaign is proven, create your own landing page for it. Once this is done, choose campaigns that really hit the spot and plan to invest even more into them. Outsource tasks, higher people, and automate the campaign as much as possible. Look into the competition and be better than them - always focus on providing the MOST VALUE.

Repeat the process.

Remember, campaigns that make you less than $500/day are not worth your time. Why not work on campaigns that can make you $1000 instead of just $200?

Here is the best way to not only beat, but DESTROY competition.

Provide the most value, be the best at making people aware of this value.

Our biggest day as an affiliate of a product is $3000 !!! :-O

You see when you realise that you wont make big money plugging 37 dollar ebooks a whole other world will open up to you.

It takes the same effort to sell a $1000 product as it does for the $37 ebook, you just have to put your message infront of the perfect prospect. We know how to do this, and what traffic methods to use.

I TOTALLY agree with you Celente! You can do all this work to make $100 a day, or you can do the SAME work to make $1,000. It's all about operating on another level where the knowledge you have matches the work you need to do to reach your $1000.

This is why I say if you make less than $500, ditch it (or automate and leave alone) to put your time into something that can make $1000+.

Good point about promoting higher priced products. The Internet is so vast that there are buyers for everything. Find something which is desired by people and which has minimal competition. It would most likely be a niche product you can promote and generate strong response.

Yes you bring some good points to the table.

The internet is so big and there are so many scams out there, but there is the other side to this too. There are some very good marketers out there, even some no namers that have big lists and awesome products.

        You can

        a) sell a $1000 product and earn say $500 commission.

        or

        b) Sell 27 copies of a $37 ebook which = $1000 and you keep 50% of that $500.

For me, it is much easier selling the 1 x $1000 product So I would go for option A).

Option B) Is very doable, but I would say you have to work much harder.

The real question is would you rather sell one copy a week as an affiliate and keep the commisions. Or would you rather sell 27 copies of an ebook a week as an affiliate and keep the commisions. I would rather sell 1 product. Less work for same amount of money. But both of these options are very doable.

Well from what you guys are saying, everyone should be making a killing doing IM?

It's hard to see what the problem is and why all the questions about newbies not being able to make any money, or not having their first sale after 6 months of work?.

Remember, campaigns that make you less than $500/day are not worth your time.
WOW, that equals out to about $62.50/hour or $123.362.29 a year. I know plenty of people that would be happy and content here if they were making enough to pay the bills and have a little left over.

There is even a Earn1KADay membership forum that helps people. Granted they don't really advocate making 1K EVERYDAY, although that only ads up to $248.714.30 a year, or about $125.00/hour. Not bad at all and there are plenty of marketers making this amount of money a year.

All this is doing is giving A LOT of newbies high hopes and visions of riches; because, they are believing that these Guru's can teach them how to do this.

One word of advice to all newbies out their:

Read the TERMS OF SERVICE and the DISCLAIMERS very carefully before purchasing any course or membership. Yes that is including my own!

      Also, I'll add

....and try and read the sales page(s) with a fine tooth comb. Notice the inconsistencies, and, ask guru questions. Most likey the guru will stop answering your questions after a while, and, reply one last time with the words [SPAM] marked to his headline

Hey ImHot, big time newbie here. I've been browsing the forum trying to learn more about IM (affiliate marketing specifically) and I have a question regarding your post. You mention that there are two strategies - low volume, high conversion...and high volume, and low (yet profitable) conversion. What sort of things signify when you want to use either of these strategies? I understand the appeal of low volume high conversion, but I'm a bit confused about high volume low conversion? Thanks in advance!

Selling physical products, no not really.

Selling ebooks or continuity programs, no not really.

It all depends on what the program is and how you presell it.

It is all about testing, we have been affiliates for many products and some niches always do better than others, and some offers always work better in those niches.

1k a day is easy for some, but others who do not work at it and test things, it is very very hard. i assure you of that.

Hey gtks8990, when I say high volume - low conversion, I mean that you can be getting lots of traffic but then at the cost of low conversion. So for example: Have you heard of Angry Birds? Right now this keyword has very little competition and has LOTS of traffic. Now imagine promoting an offer like "get a free xbox, or get a free iphone" etc. Many people in the Angry Birds niche will click on your offer (high volume) but since most are looking for Angry Birds, the conversion will be small. But the trade off is that the traffic will be cheap. So you've put yourself in a situation where the low conversion is out weighed by the high volume and cheap traffic.

In the end, you need to look at where you will profit more in your niche. Will it be more profitable to aim at getting lots of cheap traffic but with low conversion (due to generic keywords like "digital camera"), or will it be more profitable to aim at specific low volume keywords but with super high conversion (like "buy cannon SSR 3500).

Of course, there are times when you will have both high volume, and high conversion - but when this happens then competition is much higher.
