Please Comment/Improve My Landing Sales Page

Hi again,

First of all, I'm new at IM and niche sites, in general.

This site is about 2 weeks old and is a project/experiment of mine, not really looking to make big bucks out of it as it is NOT a very profitable niche (low CPC, relatively low search as well) so I really don't mind if I post the page details, hopefully other newbies can learn from my mistakes as well.

You can read all about how I started and created this niche site on my online niche marketing journal, I'd truly appreciate if you can comment and advice on my site as well, there are no opt-in requests in both these sites.

What are my goals on this site?

1) Learn how to make conversions in Amazon. While I've made some Amazon sales via my photography blog (see signature, if interested), they're more like accidental earnings rather than planned/executed earnings.

2) Make my main, secondary, and a couple of long tail KW reach the top 3 spots on Google by the end of September. Right now, my main 3-word keyword (both in plural and singular form) ranks #6 in Google after 1.5 weeks. Though these KW are NOT profitable or high-search at all LOL.

3) Figure out if Adsense works better or Amazon...

The products I'm promoting are relatively cheap, so my income expectations are low (unless you think otherwise), I really want to learn if I'm doing the right thing before I move on to another project.

I'm not looking for an overnight cash sensation, my goal for this practice site is just to make a buck a day or something, or at least cover the domain cost before the year ends.

My requests:

1) What do you think of my landing/sales page, do you think that strategy will convert (showcasing just 2 products and have straight sales links to Amazon)?

2) Is it critical for my visitors to reach my Articles/Blog pages where the actual unique contents are if they landed on the main sales page?

I'm assuming that if they actually searched for my keyword, they should know what the item is about since it's not like it's a generic word.

I'm confused whether I should make the article content pages more noticeable in the landing sales page or should I make them exit only via my Amazon links.

3) Based on Analytics, I've written several unique articles/post to cater to the LTKWs, I'm assuming that if they went straight to my site without going through the landing sales page, I'll make my conversions through adsense/chitika instead.

There are still contextual and image-based Amazon links on some pages, however, but they're no longer a 'hard-sell/recommendation" approach as the landing sales page.

4) Any critique/recommendations in terms of ad placement, etc. are welcome. I'm committed to write 2 additional pages of unique content a week for that site BTW.

Lastly, I'd appreciate if you can leave some comments and tips on my Learn Niche Marketing blog as well so any future non-WF readers can read your advice as well, I'm not sure if Disqus commenting is a do_follow system, but feel free to add your link as a sig if you wish.

I hope you guys don't mind the amount of detail I include in my questions, I feel that they're better than ambiguous, one-sentence requests hehe.
