Question For PLR Buyers

Hi PLR Buyers,

I recently set up a PLR website and I had a couple of questions that I hope you could answer. This would really help me to be able to provide a better service in the future.

  1. Are you more likely to make a purchase if PLR articles if they are limited to a certain amount of buyers?
  2. Does it make a difference in your purchasing decision whether, for example, only 100 packs of a particular bundle will be sold or if it is a product with limitless supply available to all?
  3. Do you prefer articles sold in 5 packs, 10, 20 packs?
  4. What is your opinion of PLR membership sites?
  5. Do you have any tips that PLR providers like myself and others could employ in order to improve customer service.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to comment.

    Hi

here's my answers, hope it helps

    1. Are you more likely to make a purchase if PLR articles if they are limited to a certain amount of buyers?
Most marketers say that, so I find that hardly to believe.. it doesn't make any difference for me.

2.Does it make a difference in your purchasing decision whether, for example, only 100 packs of a particular bundle will be sold or if it is a product with limitless supply available to all?
same answer for the first question.

    3. What is your opinion of PLR membership sites?
I like them, but I prefer PLR ebooks instead of articles.

    4. Do you have any tips that PLR providers like myself and others could employ in order to improve customer service.
when I sign up for PLR membership I don't care about the customer service, I just care about the products and how good they are..

    wish you the best

    Hi Tiptopcat,

As a regular PLR buyer I though I would answer these questions for you to help you out:

    1. Not really. I mostly look for relevancy to the niche I am working on when I purchase PLR, so as long as I know the topic fits, I am not really attracted by PLR sellers limiting packs to a set number of people.

    2. Similar to question #1, the most important thing to me is the relevancy to what I am looking for (my niches) and of course, the quality.

    3. I often prefer packs of 5 or 10.

    4. Unless they are niche specific, I don't really like them. If they are general topic-wise, how would I know whether what I will be getting is actually relevant to my webistes? So I prefer buy-as-you-go type of site.

    5. I think the most important thing with PLR is the top notch quality provided in the articles.

my experience with PLR in general is not all that great. i mean, it seems that the product owner sells the crap out of it then sells rights to the membership site, and by then the info is bascially useless, or very basic. I found a few PLR softwares that I was able to resell on one membership site that has it's roots here on the forum, but honestly the only good ebooks I've bought rights to are bought directly from the author, not from a membership site. and it's a lot more than the membership sites charge

It really depends on what your business model is and what you are trying to do. PLR can be useful if you rewrite some of it or make it more unique but my preference is for original content despite the higher price. I make some decent money selling e-books on Amazon Kindle but they are all completely original.

Thanks - I sometimes write PLR and found these answers to be pretty useful.

I have a few associates on here that will probably be interested in seeing these answers, too - so if you buy PLR and are reading this - please do answer. The more that writers understand what your preferences and concerns are, the more we will attempt to design packages that fit your needs.

In other words - I'm bumping this thread so more people will read and respond.
