1 Hour of Fun = 240+ New Subscribers In Less Than 24 Hours

I have been making some major changes in my email marketing campaigns this past week. It's been interesting to switch it up, but only time will tell if it will have a better outcome than what I've done in the past.

I want to share a little bit about my business and the email marketing tactics I am starting to use. If you want to skip straight into the juicy case study I ran yesterday, scroll down to the video and discover how I added 241 subscribers in less than less than 24 hours....

If you are reading this sentence, then you want to hear more about my email marketing campaign...sweet!

I've always separated my buyers from my prospects, but both sides have received similar content. After 3 years of learning about treating your list like gold, I've realized that rule doesn't count so much for those that don't buy from you.

You always want to treat your list great, but your buyers are really where your business is at. The buyers are the ones who are most likely to buy from you again. They are the ones who can help you improve your business by giving you suggestions. You don't really want to listen to someone about your products when they haven't even purchased one...

The major change I'm making in my marketing campaigns is mostly involving promoting much more often to my prospect list. My goal is to turn more prospects into buyers. My buyers will always get the best of the best.

I have wanted to do more ad swaps also. Like I've always said, I count ad swaps as promotions. In the past, my limit was 2 ad swaps per month to my lists. To show you the difference in my new campaign, I have over 45 ad swaps booked for the month of August.

BUYERS DON'T BE AFRAID

You might be thinking... oh god, don't send 45 ad swaps to your list, they will hate you... Don't worry!

I will only be swapping with my prospect list. Anyone who has purchased anything from me is going to continue to receive the awesome content I usually send without the promotions.

This allows me to give another benefit to my buyers and play more of a numbers game with my prospect list.

In the past, I have treated all my lists great. The prospects would receive the same great content as my buyers. What I noticed is that most of my prospects were just freebie seekers... they barely opened my emails at all.

They don't want to buy... okay... but they can be leveraged to find other buyers. It's still a test in my books but 24 hours into the new plan and I have already added 241 new subscribers to my list and made $250... here's exactly what I did to snag this traffic...

The video was made 3 hours after work took place. More subscribers are piling in everyday.

Well done, but I wouldn't do list swaps too often.

      Let's hear your argument....why can't I swap 5-6 times a day with a list?

As long as the turn around is in the positive, why can't you swap as much as you can?

Aren't you going to burn your list out and get everyone unsubscribing if you did that. Even in the OP when I saw you were doing 45 this next month, I thought that would lead to a lot of unsubscribing.

Another thing the OP you tell us you use your prospect list, which means that the swap partner is getting a low quality swap. Is this what they are expecting?

This is all Greek to me and I don't even have a list. I know I have to change that, but my first agenda item is to get ranked and get traffic. And I am still stumbling on that one.

There will be a higher unsubscribe rate.. and my response rate will drop due to it... but that's only for my prospect list.

When I talk about "my list", it's not one single list of people. It's actually about 75 different lists that come from different traffic sources, product sales or marketing campaigns.

Some of these lists come from crappy traffic sources and have a response rate of about 5%. Some come from buyers from past products and they respond at about 35%. The list/s I send the ad swap to will be highly dependent on the partner I'm swapping with. If they are a WSO creator, I'm more than likely going to send my WSO list to their offer.

Even if the unsubscribe rate rises and I'm losing 20 people a day, I will still be adding more new fresh faces because of all the ad swaps. If each ad swap gains me 20 people and I do 3 per day, I'm still at a +40 subscribe rate for the day.

For the lists that are going to be promoted to the most, I want them to unsubscribe if they don't purchase.

Cool post... it only clicked with me recently that your job is to turn a pool of non-buyers into buyers as soon as possible.

Eventually there is a good chance that the non-buyers get colder and move onto someone's else's list (a bit like people jumping from one idea to the next).

If you can't convert them into buyers... then you have to leverage those subscribers to get fresh blood into your non-buyers pool and get a percentage to join your buyers list.

It sounds very 'cold' but I really don't think it is if you continue to promote good products (free or paid for) that will help them fill a gap in their business.

I think I'm gonna do that as well this month, I try to do well with my list but
it seems they all say "screw you"

And I need some fresh leads to test some marketing methods, people want free stuff, so let's flood their account with free offers (as long as they provide value)

    Want to book a swap?

this is very cool, and could almost be a WSO. very good tips in your post. Nice!

A list full of freebie seekers suck.

The 80 / 20 rule applies again. YOu do 80% of your best business from your top 20% of your buyers.

Always treat your top buyers well, and you will make even more money.
