I wouldn't say I have secrets But I do have ideas that if I have the right type of money or connections could eventually make me millions ... You can call them secrets I call them ideas

I have an IM secret, wanna hear it?

People will do almost anything you ask them to do, to get something for FREE.

If you don't believe me, do a Warrior Forum Advanced search for [free wso] (keyword with brackets in page title search only), & have a look at the thousands of page views for most Free WSOs.

A lot of times you can build a list of buyers from this source of traffic, that's how I'm building my hobby niche email list (with free content), get them on the list & promote your own products.

The word Free is like a magnet, lol.

The screenshot below was a quick WF search.

The comment count isn't really important, what's important is, thousands of page views because people thought they might get something for FREE.

I know some will say, thats a bunch of tire kicking traffic that never buy, which is wrong, most will still buy, they just thought they might get something FREE.

I think every experienced Marketer has his own "secrets".

These so called "secrets" though are just the methods, the tricks and anything related to what Marketers have been testing themselves, in years of trying

You can call them "secrets", i just call that "experience". And yes, the experience gained in the IM niche can help you to make a lot of money.

My point of that FREE WSO screenshot wasn't about creating a WSO. My point was that people want something FREE, no matter the niche.

It doesn't have to be an IM product, I don't have an IM list. My list are all in the hobby niche.

Again, the magic word is FREE, & I knew before I posted that first comment above, that someone would say "Yea, but they are not buyers", your wrong about that, a lot of those people will buy.

A lot of optins don't buy as soon as they signup for the list, even selling products from the start & never giving away free content. It may take 6+ months before they convert to a sale, the key is to keep them on the list (free content) & mix in paid content at the same time.

As a matter of fact you can start an optin out on free content, mix in paid content, 6 months later (or whatever it takes) move them to a premium optin list after their first sale. You've now converted a free list to 100% buyers, give them bonus content after the sale to get them on the premium list, they'll take the bait, trust me.

You ever wonder why those late night infomercials always say "Act now & get a 2nd widget FREE".

FREE sells...

As I shared before, you do not have to be intimidated by all this talk of promotions and marketing. All of our sales campaigns essentially work like this: We send out free information that adds value to people's lives and then at some point say, "Hey, if you liked that free information, I also have a product/program that you can purchase that goes much deeper." That is a very empowering thing to know, and that is exactly how I recently made that $2 million. Now I know that anytime I want to earn more income, I just have to add more value to the marketplace and then offer a related sale.

I see 2 FREE WSOs, a FREE plugin, & a couple of other threads that might suggest you don't really believe that FREE is hogwash.

You know it works or you wouldn't be spending $$ on a WSO, building that Aweber list.

  But you have to be selling something somewhere along the line, or you will be a dork and not make any money.

  But what he doesn't say is that each step of that needs to deliver the next price point's value. You make your $197 CD course. Then you go deliver $197 worth of free value to your list. And then you say "hey, here's a $197 CD course." And because your course is a setup for the $497 video course later, that course delivers $497 worth of value.
  
  Similarly, your membership site sets people up for the seminar, which sets them up for the coaching program. And there, again, you position the membership site by delivering sustained monthly value to your list which matches the cost of the membership site. The membership site is worth the cost of the seminar. And the seminar is worth the price of the coaching.
  
  Nobody talks about this, but you can see it in what the gurus are doing. Just pay a little attention.

If you want to be successful, listen to the people who have earned lots of $$$$$$$. They will not share but at least you can learned from them..

Personally, a person's success is mostly because of some secrets or what. It always was because of their hard work, dedication, perseverance and the undying quest to improve each day. The secret to that is how a person can manage to have those qualities, because I don't see any secrets to it. How one people in the IM world attain his goal to earn 4-5 digits of money depends on how hard he works for it. Techniques and methods are also common, that is, which method to be used in your marketing and how will that method is of help to your niche or business. As a starter, people will try to learn a few basic ideas on how and what to do in the Internet business. Understanding what to do and how to do it is basically the first step. Once familiar with what and how to do, applying some methods, niches that are marketable will do the trick. As far as I know, secrets are all in the person's mind. If others can make it, why won't you?
Most people have this mentality to be easily discouraged and at times set limitations to what they can do. Unleash your potentials by spending time studying and learning how others make big earnings, and use that learning to your own concepts and ideas of business. Copy what they do but never copy what they sell, just borrow ideas on how they did it and use that ideas to your own.

There are many Top Selling Clickbank Pop out Squeeze pages use the word "FREE" because its convert.

do you have a plan that no one else is doing or only few people know about it and you're guarding it with your life?

This is interesting...because no matter how many times you tell people that there is NO secret they don't believe you.

Truly there is no SECRET - maybe you could class the secret as good niches, but so far as techniques and getting customers very rarely will I be doing something that no-one else is doing.

The SECRET I would say is to actually take action and not stop until you get some measure of success, then weigh up your efforts compared to profit and decide whether to continue or move on.

I am in the foreign language market and compared to other IMers in this local market, I have some secrets, or it certainly appears to be that way.

These are not secrets to most people on this forum and would probably not be of interest to anyone already making a living off of IM, because they would already be familiar with them. However, the English speaking IM world is light years ahead of other languages in the Western world of IM.

Most of it isn't really "secrets", I just have ideas that others didn't come up with yet. I have a couple of sheets of paper all the time with "to do lists" and they are filled with ideas.

I keep a regular schedule.

On average I work 65 to 70 hours a week when I work. I work in 45 minute chunks, then take a few minutes off. I don't multi-task. So..when I work...I work.

When I go on vacation every 2 or 3 months I usually don't have a cell phone with me, and never bring my mac, even though I do love it so much. So - when I relax..I relax.

I create a responder telling everyone emailing me that I'm gone, and when I get back all emails I got during the time I was away will be thrown in the trash...so if what they have to say to me is important write back then. Ninety percent of the "issues" are solved without me, and with no ill effect on my life or business, by the time I get back.

Works for me.

Nothing is secret, and everything is secret. From the first day you get in the online business you began collecting secrets that you believe are beneficial to have. But there are very few things that are actually secret. When you find something that helps you make money you guard it with your life.

If someone is making millions of dollars a year he or she is probably not going to tell you their secret, but they might sell you an ebook or an online course that roughly outlines it (but it is not likely). Long story short, you gatta do your homework and see "gaps of opportunity" in the market. And a secret- by definition -is something that shouldn't be disclosed to anyone nevermind a forum.

Secret #1: Learn How To Market, Sell, and Promote.

If you don't do one or ALL 3 of of these, you will NOT
make money - period.

In fact, it's *impossible* because there's not one per
-son I've met who were successful who does NOT do
any one or all 3 of those activities.

It's simply an ACTION that can NOT be avoided if you
want to make any amount of money.

You just *can't*.

Hell - if you want to win the lottery you STILL have to
get up and buy a damn ticket!

...yet so many people try to avoid it.

Why?

Fear.

Fear that they'll get rejected. Fear that it won't work.
Fear they'll be laughed at and told to get a "real job".

I've talked to MANY people who want to make more...

but aren't willing to SALE or market anything.

...some think they're *better* than *that*.

It's *easier* to go to a BOSS or J-O-B who runs their
business on sales and just *do their part* than it is
to be the one doing the selling.

...but the person MAKING the sales and paying your
salary makes the bulk of the money.

You decide which side fence you want to be on.

Learn how to Market. Sell. Promote. Easier said than
done I admit, but once you GOT it - you got it.

I don't know anything that couldn't be paid for... if there was any "secret", I'd say it's far more simple than people make it out to be.

We've complicated straight forward processes into elaborate schemes that fail more often than not.

... the simpler, the better.

Anything can be done if broken down into small enough steps.

Most secrets are either known or just not discussed on open forums. However, there are definitely little things that you won't find here or anywhere else. Over time you will certainly find little gems and ideas that don't have much discussion, these are your "secrets" to keep with you.
