Massive Income Startup Idea

Not to sound cocky, but I am great at SEO and advertising IM ideas. I have all the tools I need except I am stuck on my start up. I need some advice.

1) If I sell an e-book is it worth it to spend the time and write one myself, or use one through clickbank that is already written?

2) If I were to sell affiliate products, should I use amazon or clickbank? What is more profitable?

    I would say write your own Ebook... The reason being clickbank is that most people know about "click bank" and many don't like it cause most of the methods are pretty much the same thing written in different ways...

    You could write an Ebook about SEO or whatever you want and sell it at your own price

    You can never go wrong with writing your own ebook, clickbank has a lot of junk and very few quality products.

    I would suggest writing your own eBook. Then you have your own product. If all else fails with your website, you can sell it on the WSO thread, or somewhere else.

      Did you even read the OP? The part about being "great at SEO and advertising IM ideas"?

      Syekahtik, the real beauty about creating your own info products (not just e-books, but videos as well - which are extremely HOT right now), is that you can customize it to your audience as narrowly as you like.

      Time wise, by the time you waste wading through crappy PLR and/or MRR, or finding and negotiating with a freelance writer, you could have just sat down and wrote the damned thing yourself!

      And if you're smart, you'll invest the US$150 for the premium edition of Dragon Naturally Speaking and outsource the finished script to a good editor/proofreader (and designer if the extra expense is worth it in your niche).

      It usually works just fine to leave the transcription alone for a few days before you attempt any editing and proofing; this gets what you intended to say/write completely out of recent memory, so you can focus on what you actually said/wrote. Works like a charm!

    Write your own. One thing for sure, you will see countless articles about original content is worth more.

    For me, I have not made much of anything through Clickbank - seems overrated - but I have made commissions with Amazon.

    I am working on an ebook that I plan to put on Amazon that I hope does well.

    If you really want to look forward through ClickBank, there are some techniques possible to earn money as CB Affiliate. But I did two thanks to JCamp and lilc800.

    If if it were me then I'd be looking to create a product which maybe had more value than an ebook, my own personal preference would be software, but I understand this area might be difficult for many Internet marketers. So I'd go for the video creation...you can charge much more for a video course than an ebook.
