Question about ezinearticles.

Hello,

Do people goto ezine articles then search, or do most people just do a google search then end up at ezine articles?

I found several keyword phrases that have a hige search volume (2k plus) and they have less then 20 articles on ezine (using the exact keyword phrase) but the kicker is, they have a high google competition, so getting ranked on google, even with ezine article being optimized will be very hard.

But if people just goto the article database then search, it will be a good KW phrase..

anyone have experience with this?

Dennis

Just have the main keyword in your title and article summary. You don't need to worry about the rest...Google will automatically pick your articles up.

    Hello,
According to my experience, Google itself show ezinearticles in the search results when we type a keyword. I don't go that site and search in it because if ezinearticles has the article related to my search then it automatically comes up.

I think this is because ezinearticles have search engine optimized their articles very well. They use the right keywords in the right amount in their articles which makes them appear in top results in google. They also use the keywords in the title of the articles that also helps their ranking.

    Okay,
I guess my main question is. Is it worth going after a niche (using article marketing) that has few articles written about, but a lot of google search's and a lot of google competition.

      It depends...

You can find profitable ventures in subniches of a large niche market. For example, take weight loss. There are tons of sub niches in weight loss that get more specific, such as products that burn butt fat, burn arm fat, thigh fat, etc.

While the weight loss niche as a whole may have a ton of competition, these sub niches have considerably less.

Very interesting question. I don't know the question to be honest but why you don't try it out with 10 articles? Just costs a few bucks to get them written quickly.

If your numbers are correct then it's a good niche that has not been detected by article marketers yet. If competition is high then you won't rank for it anyway, so this is not the question. You will only get traffic directly from ezinearticles visitors.

Come to think about it, I think I may submit 1 Article, using the top keywords that's im targeting in the title, and I will see how many view's / click through's it receives. I may have the URL point at some general website, so I can see if it's getting click throughs.

If it gets a solid number of views, then I will know that people are searching ezine articles for info, and it's not only google.. We'll see.
