I just reported a post and...

...my AVG toolbar returned me to a 404 page?

Instead of bringing me back to WF?? WTF?

Anyone had this happen with AVG Pro version?

In the past, even when my report is the one that nukes a post, the system returns an "Invalid link specified" message from WF, NOT a parked 404 page.

Wierd...

    How bizarre!

    I just nuked another piece of sh*t and the same thing happened.

    AVG must serve it's own 404 page when that "invalid thread" message returns.

    Any ideas on how to turn that feature off in AVG?

    Thanks for the tip- that fixed it! I just had to pull down the options menu from the AVG icon on my AVG toolbar, click advanced, and un-check the "Make 404 recommendations" box, and Voila!

    How nice of AVG to provide those nifty 404 error pages for me full of advertising to THEIR benefit, right?
