Post categories as pages in wordpress?

Hi all,

I'm currently using Flexibility 3 on a website. I was wondering if there was any way I can make my different post categories as pages in the top navigation? I'm open to changing themes if anyone has any suggestions - but I thought there might be a plug-in for it or something?

Ideally, I'd want a home page with a features section at the top and then all the latest blog posts with the top navigation being something like:

Home | Category 1 | Category 2 | About | Contact Us | Privacy Policy

etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

If a theme is properly updated to really work with WP 3+ - then it should have the custom menus option. With that you can do what you want in a minute.

If the theme cannot do it - get a properly coded theme.

BTW, wrong title (and way of thinking): you do NOT make your categories into Pages... you just need to alter/modify the tool that displays the menu

Could you suggest a free theme that has this option please?

I am a big fan of the two latest default: 2010 and 2011.

Other than that... you can filter the results at wordpress.org:
