A Simple Marketing Method To Promote Your Website

I'm constantly looking for new ways to promote my website, and here's a method I'm starting to use:

1. I create stickers with a simple message and my website address

2. I buy a selection of newspapers each day

3. I stick a sticker on the front page of each newspaper

4. I then leave these newspapers in coffee shops (Starbucks), on the train, waiting rooms, the library ... in fact anyway that has areas where people can sit and read a newspaper.

I've created a seperate domain for my website and I'll check the figures at the end of the month.

Yes, it costs me about £3.00 ($6.00) a day, so I'm only testing it for a month to see if it works.

Do you think this method will work?

Very creative method, I like it! The only thing though, is it will depend what your website is about to whether this would be worthwhile or not. Visitors may not be laser targeted for example!

But I like it! Have you done this today? Let us know what happens!

I agree, but if his product or service is for regular consumers I would also suggest that he put stickers on his car, gadgets, and other belongings. So if someone sees it, then he can readily explain it.

T-shirts with site URL seems to be cool too.

Good advertisers never run out of ideas...

      Good luck, Robert100!
