How to deliver 45-60 min video content? Advice needed
Hi Warriors,
I hope you can help me with a problem I'm having on my day job. I work for an organization that wants to sell videos online and it seems like no one can figure out how to deliver them.
Here is the situation:
- we have about 60 videos ready to sell and want to do lots more
- each one is 45-60 minutes long
- the organization is a tantra school so some of the videos have nudity and/or sexual content (which limits who will carry the content - we've had pretty innocent stuff banned from youtube already)
- we want digital delivery rather than selling physical DVD's, etc.
- we'd like to stream them from our own site if that would work (depending on the expense, the pockets here are pretty shallow)
Everyone we have brought in to help us figure out how to do this seems to end up trying to redesign our website saying that without a redesign anyone purchasing one video will have access to them all. This "help" has resulted in a bunch of changes to our website and we now have a big pile of mush online and still no videos for sale. My boss would consider me the great hero if I can figure out how to solve this problem.
I'm also interested in monetizing the site further and am very open to ideas.
