I bought a URL for an adult website (won't be mentioned here) and used the keywords in the URL last week. I reached page 1 of google (great) but was wondering if I could redirect traffic to a different URL which is the main URL of the site. What I mean is that I used the keyword URL to get to the top of google. Will I be penalized for donig that? Will my URL lose it's ranking.

I want to be able to use the name of the website in the URL but use the keyword URL to get traffic there.

Does google like this strategy?

Everything I have ever read, said that this is not cool to do if you are just putting up a single page that just has a "click here" button to instantly redirect traffic. It will also most likely not spend very much time on the first page of google without content....

Why not continue the site... add content... keep it high in the SERP's and use it to redirect the traffic in a slightly less obvious way...
