Building a list with paid traffic...

Hey guys,

I need some advice, i'm working on building a list in the pet niche. So far I invested very small amount into the following companies :

Rent-a-list.com
Facebook

(both of these I used specific targeting for pets)

I also will be using article marketing, because I believe that's the best way to get GOOD subscribers. I would like to do some paid ads to get more traffic.

My question is should I be paying for CPM or CPC ? I have also considered doing a targeted email list from rent a list. I'm on the fence because I have heard two different things. 1.) It's great for building a list. 2.) When you pay for that a lot of people think you're a spammer, because they haven't seen your name before.

I do realize that I will most likely have to do my own testing in order to see what works best for my niche. My question is from your own experiences is CPM or CPC a better value.

Also if you could suggest any other good companies for advertising let me know.

Thankyou,

Travis

I am talking about adwords... there are two options when creating a campaign... most people leave it on the default setting which is "search network"... you can change this to pay for clicks on the "display network".. which means your ads (should be in the form of image ads... one for each allowed size) appear on keyword related websites (not searches)... You can set your campaign at 0.01 cent per click... and you can buy a $100 dollar adwords coupon for five bucks on fiverr.

And yes, this should not be your only source of traffic, but it is one that has worked for me in the past...

Thanks a bunch! I'm definitely going to try that out. I'm working on it right now, I just have to wait for google to ok the ads.

For some reason I got disapproved. I'm not sure why google doesn't even say why. I have never had any luck with adwords I never get approved I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have read the rules and I don't think I'm breaking any

Gone are the days where you can use the google cash method and just send your google ads to an affiliate offer on clickbank. Those were easy money days.

Now days, they slap you for any little thing and if you do not comply with their rules you can get banned quickly. Even if you think you are not breaking any, you probably are, and it could be something very minute...i mean something silly too but that is enough for these nazi dictators to ban you.

I tried going over the policy over and over but i can't figure whats wrong. Is there some king of checklist out there that someone has made? In the warrior forum or any good sites that explains rules better the Google?

rent-a-list also owns (or is affiliated with) dealsncash.com.... check that site out... if you pay for a list, check your analytics and you will see that all the traffic comes from DealsNCash.com... Which is a site that pays people a few pennies to open emails....

Oh wow I didn't know that thankyou very much. I have read some good reviews, but they were probably just affiliates. I'm glad i only invested $12.50 at rent a list. I guess I'll see how it goes. I did it with CPM.

If you are building a list with paid traffic you are waisting your time.

That is just one way. The best way to build a better list is to direct to all avenues online.

    We use

    - PPC
    - Joint Ventures
    - Articles
    - CPA
    - Press releases
    - Blogs
    - Blog commenting.

In all our testing this has been the most successful and brings in the most subscribers with the least amount of money.

One of our niches brings in about 500 - 700 optins a day doing this (on a good day) . While some might be amazed with those figures, we think they are so so.... lol

But testing your traffic is mandatory. PPC might not work as well as it does for one niche as it does for another.

And also blog commenting might work insanely better than PPC for another niche, and so on and so on. i guess you get my point.

Thanks for the info, I'm not paying for traffic. I'm paying for ads which is PPC. I will do it the free ways but if i can invest $30 for example and make one sale for $40 off 30,000 impression. Then I made $10, so if I upscale and invest more...etc I don't understand what you mean by waste of time.
