How to use PR sites in the right way?

Hi warriors!
I have been submitting my articles to many PR sites, but it seems to not be effective in marketing my site.
Can you give me some suggestions about using PR sites properly?

    Are you talking about Press Release sites?

    If you want to get the best use out of a press release you need to do a paid submission. I recommend PR Web. We do big business with them. Big business. They drive traffic, their syndication sends heavy weight link juice to our site and overall we are completely satisfied with them.

    Free PR sites are a waste of time in my opinion.

      I have had good success using a free PR sites for backlinks. Had a site jump up in the rankings after submitting to a few free PR sites.

        Are you working with low or high competitive keywords? There is more to this than "I threw up some releases onto the free submission sites and saw great results." A lot more actually.

        SEO in itself is a dynamic thing, and people's keywords are different. I assure you, free press releases submissions wouldn't work for but just a few of my keywords.

      Agree with you. Have you tried other kind of PR services? Like PR Newswire, Business Wire? How do you think of that?

    Hi nlquyen,

    Like BloggingPro was saying PR Web if you pay to submit is a great way to get backlinks, and traffic to your site. The 300 dollar package is quite excellent. Your press release even gets sent out to many news outlets and Google News amongst others.

    If you are short and cash and need to go the free route I would go with Free Press Release Distribution - PRLog It's a decent press release site for a free site.

    Free PR is not that working for visibility of your business but as a way to build backlinks for your site. If you want to generate visibility & grow business, it's better to do some paid PR services. Paid PR service is a trend for nowadays' marketing. However, it's really difficult for choosing a right PR for our business. Hope somebody can share his/her experience here.
