Someone was telling me the other day of a girl at our local hospital who has been able to give up her job because she's gone into the umm (how can I describe it), "used panties" business online.

She advertises her services and goes to our local market, buys em cheaply in bulk, sprays em with something, (I have no idea what), and sends them out to all those saddo perverts who like that type of thing (at a hefty profit).

Whatever you think of the morals of the whole thing, you can't help but admire the sheer cheek of it.

Can't help but wonder what she puts down as her business on her tax form

This has been going on for a long time. Was big business about 6 years ago. However it is now "Illegal" to sell such goods online. However, it's still being done.

The reason it's illegal is because it's deemed a "health hazard" to mail such goods.

The real gals would actually wear the panites for a day or so, and then seal them in a ziploc bag to "ensure freshness" and would attach a photo with a note. These girls would field up to $150 per pair of panties.

However, most of the people doing this were just dudes who would brush on a concoction of tuna fish onto a bunch of panties they picked up at the thrift stores.

What a hustle!

Ebay used to be flooded with these type ads about 4 to 6 years ago.

There is a whole website dedicated to "used panties" among other things being sold which can be very graphic to say the least. Quite a few ladies make a good side income from there as well.

As stated it's been around a long time. A young art director left us to do the same thing a couple of years ago. He (yes he!) sold everything from his used underwear to socks, shoes, "sweaty" t-shirts, jogging bottoms, soiled "sweaty" football kit (particularly Man United!) training shoes and anything else that there was a market for...and believe me there was a market for everything, many things though young Darren just wouldn't do.

I won't go into too much detail but often it included either bottling or vaccuum packing...[shudders!]

He roped in his girlfriend as well as others to scale it up! He's doing really well too with both online and offline marketing.

Yes I seen a few dudes doing this on ebay a few years back & some of the prices went pretty high. Cheers to them guys for "feeding" the gay market.

But keep in mind I used to be a private detective and a cab driver so I was submersed into a dark and twisted culture in Portland Oregon at a young age. If it involves the sex, prostitution or stripper world, I've probably been exposed to it.

Ah, this subject brings back some memories!

A few years ago, I was an IT Manager at a major Hollywood Motion Picture Studio. One day, I got called into a very hush-hush meeting, because it had been discovered that the used Panties of the star of one of their biggest TV shows had been stolen from her dressing room, and were being sold via the Internet. It’s kind of long and complicated to explain how this all transpired, but I was asked to find out the identity of the person selling them and try and recover the “goods”. Of course, anyone could CLAIM that they were the panties belonging to this particular Star, but the seller gave enough details about his theft (time, place, color, etc…) that it appeared to be legit.

The funniest part of the entire episode was all of the meetings that I had to endure regarding this matter. Just picture a large, plush Hollywood conference room, filled with executives, producers, Security Managers, The Star herself, and her MOTHER, all talking about her panties….shape, color, size, and any possible stains or coloration that might be present, and the possible repercussions of having her panties available on the open market. The experience in itself was far more comical than anything Hollywood could have conceived of for a comedy!

As the resident “Internet Expert” (their title for me, not mine!), I was asked to try and “bait” the seller so they could try and ascertain his identity. I ended up corresponding with him, and arranged for the purchase of the panties….I also had to buy a case of 400 condoms from him so that I could set up an in-person transaction, so that the Studio Security Personnel could “meet” with him.

As it turns out, the “thief” was a Page at the studio (an usher/gopher/errand boy) that did indeed have access to the Stage and dressing room. He was STILL employed at the Studio at the time we caught him.

Note: Regarding the 400 condoms: I ultimately ended up selling them to Jason Moffatt. He called me a week later asking for a refill………........... J/K
