Hello Warriors,
I have just joined this forum. Hear a lot about the kind of platform it gives to people like me who want to do their internet marketing with new techniques and solid foundation. That's what I also experienced in this forum. But one thing I want to know is what will be the face and features of IM in future, umm say after 10 years. Would we use the same techniques or some newer ones ? If new, then what type? SEO & SEM in future would be like the same or else?

I know, no one can give the exact outlines of future IM, but form many answers we can draw a common guideline that will be of immense importance for new warriors like me.

We will constantly be changing marketing strategies, so I would assume that our strategies will be different in 10 years.

For example: Myspace used to be big about 5 years ago. Now Facebook has taken it's place! Internet marketers will always be adapting to the environments they experience and adjust accordingly!

P.S. SEO will always be a marketing tactic used because search engines are the #1 way that people find what they are looking for! (Although SEO algorithms will continually change with the search engines, as internet marketers, we adapt!)

Welcome to the forums! I hope you find it useful for your business.

The face of IM is changing all the time. That is why these forums are so important, to keep up to speed and share thoughts and ideas. Really, you can and will never stop learning. Currently the trend of IM is on a mobile marketing shift.

More and more consumers are using mobile marketing in the form of accessing the web from phones and tablet devices. Marketers are now shifting into using mobile apps, mobile advertising and mobile text messaging services to advertise to those consumers. This does not mean search engine rankings and social platforms wont be important but it impacts HOW we set up online and offline businesses to gain customers.

Using the Kindle platform seems like it is another up and coming "thing", especially since you can download a free app to read the ebooks on any device (like an ipad) regardless of if it is a Kindle or not. As a writer I was just contemplating if I should learn how to do this or not and offer it as part of my skill set... but I haven't decided yet.
