IE Users - Not so dumb after all!

Last week a number of major news outlets ran a story about an online IQ test that also captured the test participants web browser information, and correlated it with their IQ's. Apparently Internet Explorer users ranked as having the lowest IQ scores, with Opera users being the highest.

While personally I'd never consider using IE (and love Opera) it turns out that the whole thing was actually just an elaborate hoax.

So IE users can rest assured - you may still have an inferior browser but at least your intelligence is not being called into question anymore!

      Not sure what you mean? The fake "survey" Included Firefox, Chrome and Safari as well - those users ranked slightly higher than average IQ's, while Opera users ranked the highest.

      Again, the key word here is "fake" - it was all a hoax!
