Most important thing to remember about making money from your blog
I've learned from experience that a lot of blogs have a distinctive "twist" in their niches and great content do succeed after awhile. People don't particularly care about blogs that merely give information about 2012 Hyundais or bedbugs or weight loss or puppetry or whatever as much as a unique informative "take" on a given niche.
If, on the other hand, you merely present information in your blog, period --- blah, blah, blah --- you probably have wasted your time because much of that information can be found elsewhere online and offline. People really crave a different perspective.
