Affiliate program to sell SEO ebook

Hi everyone. I've been selling an SEO ebook for years, through my website. I'm finally looking into affiliate programs to sell a few more copies. It's a no-fluff, practical, thorough and comprehensive book, 213 pages long.

I'm currently using DLguard and it's great. But I believe to sell through an affiliate program, I need to use the program's checkout technology?

I've also heard that clickbank is for "spam ebooks". Is that the case? Mine certainly isn't spam.

Also, I want a program that won't raise red flags when customers see the affiliate link.

I'd love to hear from people who have had very positive experiences with a particular program (i.e. in terms of bottom line). My product is great. I have no doubts about that. I just want a good avenue to sale.

Clickbank has some very reputable products available. I think you could make some money on clickbank if you post your book there.

Clickbank is definitely not just for spam e-books. Granted, there probably are some spam e-books on it. But, that is not the majority.

Clickbank is actually a very good company. They do however seem to have some trouble with their affiliate tracking at times. But, for the most part I have been very happy with them.

So, to answer your question I would use Clickbank and every other affiliate network that would take my product.

Why just use one. Uses many as you can to get the most exposure. Later affiliates choose which network they would like to promote them from.

Hi Glenn,

There are two ways you can go about setting your affiliate program up.

The first way is using a company like Clickbank, PayDotCom, Ejunkie, etc. which is the easiest, because they handle all commision payouts, refunds, etc.

The second way is by setting up your own in house affiliate program using an affiliate script/software like IdevAffiliate.com this takes more work, you have to manually manage everything yourself, but it has it's benefits like not paying another company a fee every time you make a sale, and you have full controll over your affiliates & your own program.

Do some research on both ways I just mentioned...

Ah I see! My ignorance really is showing!

So I don't need to change anything on my regular sales page, then? (This page attracts traffic through organic seo results and also thru adwords.) I just keep that as is with the DLguard checkout?

All affiliate links point to a sales page on the affiliate site (that might link to a thank you page on my site)?

Sorry if these questions are basic.
