I am pretty sure that you must have heard thousands of success stories stating that they made this much thousands of dollars online and God knows how much of them were true.

Wait a second, when was the last time you read a fail story? Well maybe never, so here is mine.

It was 4 years back when I was introduced to money making online. I was really fascinated and started to read more information on it when I finally stepped into freelancing.

The first month I earned was 94$ with ass-tearing work.
Second month - It reduced. Why? Because I was not being equally paid for amount of the effort I was putting in the work.
It went on and on and finally I stopped working as a freelancing after 9 months of struggle and only 500$ in the pocket with blood sweating tissues around.

I came across Warriorforum and this fascinated me again (POOR ME). I started working on a Clickbank project which all went in vain when there was no return. I went onto another project since last 4 months and all I have earned are 0.18$

Result?
I am still not giving up and working on it to achieve the goal. I was fed-up of reading fake success stories so just wanted to write a fail story straight from my heart.

Cheers~

If all you have earned is $0.18 in the past 4 months then you're doing something seriously wrong. Question, why did it take you 4 months to come to the conclusion that what you were doing wasn't paying off?

Second question, what are you now going to do about it?

Well from the past 4 months, I have pulling the strings that It might work.

Good way to make money with freelancing is to outsource. I used to get so many articles to write that I had to start outsourcing my work, generally I got paid $7.50 per article and outsourced it for $3-4 per article.

Today I have 4 really good writers under me, I get the jobs, place the bids and what not, then just outsource and review once complete. An easy $50 per day,

    Give that a try

It all comes down to finding a product or service in strong demand. Content writing is and will continue to be needed by most webmasters and blog owners. If you can write good articles, then strong demand should exist.

Don't get in the rut of joining affiliate programs and then thinking you'll make a killing that way. It is too competitive and too diluted. Stick with a smaller niche which has strong demand and minimal competition. Check out this forum for more ideas and guidance.

It does, I do believe in success.

But why not to believe in failure when it is right infront of your eyes?

The key is to stay positive and motivated, know why you're doing it and what you want to achieve in life, I'm chasing my Lamborghini Gallardo, hehe. Never give up, there's gold just around the corner for those who struggle through the rough part

Some people get annoyed with stories about "the Secret", however a positive mindset and attitude is key to any success you will have.

The word "try" should be erased from your vocabulary, say you're gonna do it, and you will. Don't try, just do it!

Easier said than done? Well, is it really? All in the mind my friend. You can do it

That's why you're not making money man, I'm at Elance with an account that holds 40 members, on Guru I have a vendor account which I DEFINITELY recommend.

Here's what I do once a week, I spend about 2-3 hours looking for basic article writing requests, submit my bids (about 30 on average each week.)

Obviously you'll get notified in your inbox when someone wants to hire you, while you're negotiating, post your own project "looking for writers", include your max payment, say $4. Give each guy 3 trial articles to write for you, pay them, keep the ones you like.

As your projects flow in you make a simple .docx file and just keep record of which articles you gave to which writer and when it needs to be done.

In total it will take you about 5 hours a week and pocket you an average of $250 (after payments)

      Gotta be smart

I really recommend the book Millionnaire Fastlane. I think it would maybe help you focus your time on what makes the most money.

The Guru Vendor account gives you 100 bids each month, my success rates are about 12%, each month I get some writers on the side to help out, and each month you get new long term clients, even if they only want a post or two per week. If your work is good (meaning you chose decent writers) they will increase the workload.

Go for it, there is NO WAY you'll lose money, trust me, I do that in my "free" time when not doing SEO or other IM related stuff

Hello Smokee. I started 3 months ago using a blog from Blogger. That cost nothing. I created a site and put Adsense on the blog. I researched keywords in a little niche that receives good traffic, has good advertiser competition, and appeared I could rank fairly easily for long tail keywords to see some traffic and clicks in a short period of time. Long story short, the blog now earns $60 per day. I updated the site everyday and spent any downtime learning SEO.

That's part of your problem, you want to have a business, online or just a regular brick and mortar? It takes an investment of both time and money.

Stop smoking whatever it is your smoking, smokee. That might help too. :p

I learned on the fly. Google was my best friend in searches. Anytime I had or have a question about anything, I Google it. But experience taught me the most. My first month I barely made any money. But I anticipated that. I create good content for my site and keep moving forward with what I continue to learn by searching. All that costs nothing. Not a rupee!

You're missing the point...Like everything else in Life; IM is just a Game with: Winners...losers...quitters....somewhere in the middlers. The choice of where you fit into the scheme of things is down to you.

All you really need to be successful in this game is determination and a never give up attitude and you can come back this time next and tell everyone how your making a *hit load of money and if you want to know how I did go buy my high end product.

First, I wouldn't say it is a failure, you had a good beginning, and you seems to try different options.

I start on amazon and i started making over $1000 a month, then things get better and ended worth.

I moved to ebay and made half what i used to make, then i moved to a new type of business, but to be decent my dream is to own my own online business, which costed me over a thousand dollar and mad few dollars

I moved on to a new business and start make earning and i am planning to fund the previous one once I am back on track.

All i say things goes up and down, i made some right steps and other wrong, i don't believe i am a failure since i am making money now (still not hitting $100 a month but I hope in soon feature lol).

If click bank didn't work for you try other type of online business, you may get back on track

    Smokee,

This is what I do.. I brainstorm ideas and look at products that are over $100 on ebay. Then look at google keyword tool for some good search metrics - over 1000 searches exact + good long tail keywords. I BUY a domain and start writing articles or outsource the articles.

You cant expect to make 2 - 3 sites your first time and make a killing. Its just not that easy. Think long term vs short term rewards. Yes you may get only $5 a month from each site, but that $60 per year. Just an example of how I think.

You have to get your traffic techniques down to a science. If you are driving any traffic you are not going to make any money. I have had really ugly sites make money because I had traffic going to them. I have had really nice sites with good content fail because of no traffic to them. Find a good niche put up a wordpress blog with a great converting product (CJ, Clickbank) and drive traffic. You will make money. I know it easy to say but if you are picking good buyer keywords and you have traffic you will make money.
