Writing articles for warriors saved my butt (plus: a few things to consider)

I hope you're having a great start to your weekend! This is how article writing on the Warrior Forum saved my butt.
In the last couple of months I did a good bit of traveling and overextended myself financially (read: wine, chicks and jiu jitsu). While I do have a few passive income streams, I have expensive tastes
Anywho, I decided to offer article writing services (which you can access via my sig). I offered a few review copies, really took my time and did a great job and people began contacting me. I made several hundred dollars in a few days.
To tell you the truth, I actually bit off more than I can chew! Thing is, I have no patience for crappy articles and it takes me an hour AT LEAST to write a 500 word article that requires any kind of research. So it only takes 1 bulk order to book me for 3 days straight. As a result, I had to give refunds to some of my clients and reneg on their writing assignments. That felt really awful...
Here's what I learned:
IMers will always need content so if you need funds, article writing'll be there for ya! Personally, I think the cost/benefit ratio sucks serious juju beans. Just one man's opinion. :-)

Here's what I learned:
- Article writing is extremely difficult when done well
- It takes a lot of time (at least 1 hour per article)
- Take on one or two clients at a time MAX
- Charge competitive rates and always deliver the goods
- Find something more lucrative than article writing!
