Updating Wordpress/Wordpress Manager

How much would you charge someone to be a manager of their wordpress site? I have a friend who needs someone to upload posts, keep their wordpress up to date and everything....really simple stuff for me but, complex for her. I was thinking of charging her like $12/hr. OR should I do like a flat Monthly rate of something like $350? What do you think?

$12/hr would be more than fair for her as long as you considered it fair too. A flat rate would also work but you may want to agree on some parameters of what exactly that would include so you don't end up overworked and underpaid. Clear communication is key, especially if it involves a friend.

Yeah. For sure, I just messaged her and asked her if she wanted SEO with it. I think so long as she provides the files with the material to be uploaded a $350 flat rate should be fine. If she wants more than that though, like SEO, I'm thinking $500 - $700 flat rate. I do want to cut her a deal because she is a friend and while I'm experienced, I don't really do the offline thing because of school so I definitely do not want to end up over worked.

I charge $60 an hour for stuff like that billed in 15 minute intervals. Graphics, video titles, descriptions, add posts, and such.
