Hubpages Switching to Subdomains
I just received an email today that Hubpages is migrating all hubs to a subdomain for each user account.
So instead of hubpages.com/hub/your-hub-name it will be useraccount.hubpages.com/hub/your-hub-name.
Any thoughts?
Initially my thoughts are:
1. You are going to have to be more careful to have an account for each niche. Covering 10 topics under one account just won't be as effective.
2. Your hubs aren't going to receive as much immediate trust on a subdomain as it currently does off the main site.
3. I wonder if they are going to get less anal about people building backlinks to their hubs?
(If this has already been discussed, I apologize. I couldn't find it in a search.)
