Advise - stuck in a rut.

About 2 years ago I started a website selling products. After around 1 year I had got it to page 1 for the main keyword mainly through the angela packets. Not sure if they are still about. Anyway this got me to spot 4 - no mater what I tried i found it hard to get any higher. At this point I found Senuke, which got me to spot 3 for about 3 months and then I reached spot one a few months after that.

No around the time of the panda update I woke up to find it had slipped down to the bottom of page one. So i did a link blast at it to find it made it worse. did the same again building 100 or so links at it a day and it just seemed to make the problem worse. at the same time all my other websites went from number one spots.

the anoying thing was I had quit my job about 3 weeks before all this started happening. Because the link building seemed to have a negative affect I figured Id give it a rest for a couple of months and see what happens.

So here I am today, my main website is now sitting on page 10. I tried a bit of a senuke run the other day and it moved up to page nine for a day then dropped back down below where it was before on Page 10.

I guess my questions are, has my website been penalised somehow? Can i recover it? How would you go about it?

The anoying thing is I have like 6k incoming links where as the top two now have around 6-700 each and one has mainly blog post links. and the majority of the other all come from the same website.

I do currently have senukex, Can anyone suggest a plan for me to get back up there?
