A/B Tests and Affiliate not credited for sales.

Hello everyone,

I have a product up on Clickbank, it is new and I have some tests going on. All looks good, I have a conversion rate of 5.56% on the OTO.

I have a few questions:

1. - As I run a Google Website Optimizer A/B test between 3 sales pages, it seems that my conversion rates there is completely twisted, probably from affiliates visiting the sales pages. Is there any way that I can exlude traffic from certain domains (Clickbank) in my A/B tests?

2. I had an affiliate sending me a good amount of traffic, and I feel that he should be credited for some sales made, but the sales are made without any affiliate being attached to them.

I think that the problem is here: I have the product set up as a few different products in Clickbank, as I am testing different price points. Are the Clickbank cookies only valid for one product at a time? In other words, Affiliate sends customer to Sales Page A for Product 1 at $37. The customer signs up for my autoresponder, and from message 1 the customer purchases Product 2, which is a OTO at $27.

Is it then true that the affiliate does not credited, because the Clickbank cookie is sitting on Sales Page A for Product 1?

I am using EasyClickMate to manage affiliates.

I hope that makes sense. I need the affiliate to be credited for any sale being made for any one of the products that I have set up.

Thanks in advance!

Rich

I think Adrian Ling of EasyClickMate would be happy to help you out on this - he's on this forum as easybiztools.

But the way I understand it works is that you only have one listing on ClickBank and that is for your main product and salespage or landing page. Marketers like Jimmy Brown use that page to attract affiliates for the separate products.

For your products you provide affiliate links through EasyClickMate. They then choose the salespage and affiliate link they want to promote.

If your salespages that you are switching between in Web Optimizer are actually separate products, rather than separate prices for the same product, then that is probably why your affiliate is not being credited for sales.

But, like I said, Adrian will be happy to help you out with this.
