How do you keep track of your assets? domains/websites?

Lately i've been building my assets up quite quickly and seem to be losing my mind on where everything is at.

Where domains are registered, what sites are built and what are currently needing a face lift etc....

How do you keep track of everything down to a tee?

Do you have a management script? Any one use any software to keep track?
#assets #domains or websites #track

Open Notepad, press F5 (Auto Date & Time), start Keeping records. That's how I do.

Its old school but I use a spread sheet to track that stuff.

Using a spread sheet is a good place to start if you don't have anything already. But NEVER keep passwords in it.

You can use something like Password Safe to keep your passwords in an encrypted file. This tool can actually store notes like IPs etc. alongside your usernames + passwords - so it might be a good first step for you. This also makes it easy to have a separate username + password for each website / server etc. you use - as you don't have to remember any of them!

(You'll have to Google for Password Safe as I don't have a high enough post count to post links)

    Domain SOLUTION:

Use only one provider and transfer all your domains their.
    I suggest use NameCheap

    Website SOLUTION:
Put your passwords in a notebook.
I use post-it's to remember things I need to do.
