Just wanted to check with the forum to see what people's opinions were of PayDotCom.com ... if you haven't heard of it - it's a site like Clickbank that was started by Mike Filsaime.

I feel a little dirty and used for signing up as a PayDotCom.com affiliate.

I don't particularly care for all of the redirects and advertisements.

    I used to promote a product on paydotcom and made a lot of money promoting it. Then, without notice, I started making almost nothing from it. I did some research to find that the original product owner sold the site/product to 2 guys and the commissions came to a screeching halt.

    Naturally, I stopped promoting the product and haven't really used paydotcom since. I know that's not the fault of paydotcom, but I tend to hate paydotcom and clickbank products for the most part, with a few exceptions and prefer to just stick to promoting my own products.

    I've had mixed results with PayDotCom... It's harder to find affiliates for your product compared to ClickBank and there's an extra step in the checkout process compared to ClickBank but if CB won't allow a product in their network then PayDotCom could be a good alternative.

    I suspect that's where a lot of people might go once they get the boot from ClickBank at the end of the month if they cannot change their sales pages significantly.

    I signed up with PayDotCom about 3 years back. They don't really have a great selection of products to choose from. At least in my opinion they don't. I have never promoted anything on their site. Clickbank is much better to me.

    I only ever made a few sales with PayDotCom.com... I've always had more success with Clickbank.

    Either that or my links weren't working for PDC

    I tried paydotcom around 3 years ago when I was just getting started in actual affiliate marketing. Never made a sale. The lack of products is also telling, as is the fact that the ones they do have are of relatively low quality.

    I have a PayDotCom account and hosted several products on it, but I really haven't used it for it's full potential yet.

    Aside from the flood of emails I got from Mike's onslaught of products, I think it's a good alternative to CB, Revenue Share. Plimus, DigiResults, and some of the other options out there.

    I will say this; Mike's latest product ROCKS and all is forgiven for the crappy emails received prior!
