Clickbank approved...now what?

Does anyone have any experience as a clickbank vendor?

If so, how did you attract affiliates to promote your product? I am a new vendor and I need affiliates. I already have about 1 sale/day and I just launched my product on clickbank 5 days ago, yet I know I can do a lot better than that if I have a team of affiliates behind me.

I am completely in the dark when it comes to this, yet I realize I need to find affiliates if I am going to make more then 1-2 sales per day. Any advice would be appreciated!

You could try the jv sections on here, and every other internet marketing related forums. Start a contest, post in forums or what ever.

It amazes me that there are so many people that create a product and just list it on clickbank. If only it was that easy .

You should have a plan in place in the first place, create a proper launch. Get your product listed on jvnotifypro.com . get a buzz created about your product before you release it, get the hype going. It's all about the hype

    Hope that helps a bit

First of all, welcome to the forum.

Secondly, congratulations on getting your product accepted by ClickBank and good luck with it.

The single most important thing for you to know, in my opinion, is that very broadly and approximately speaking, there are (from your perspective) two different "sorts of affiliates" available for ClickBank vendors. One is a group of about 90% of the available affiliates who collectively make about 10% of the affiliate-referred sales, and the other is a group of about 10% of the available affiliates who do it seriously, making a living or part of their living from it, and they collectively produce about 90% of the affiliate-referred sales. Their opinions are a little harder to find, usually, because there are fewer of them.

Why am I telling you this? So that you won't make the mistake of trying simply to "please everyone" (it isn't possible) or to "attract as many affiliates as possible" (typically a big mistake) without being aware of that.

The reality is that most of the potentially available affiliates will make very little difference to your long-term, cumulative, bottom line.

And finally, to answer your question: the question you've just asked has been asked (and answered) here perhaps 50 times, in 50 threads, over the last year, and it will help you a lot to read those threads.

Finding them isn't easy - this is the problem. But I suggest, as a starting point, using the search function and looking for threads in this part of the forum only, with the word "affiliates" (plural) in their titles. I might also try the same thing for "ClickBank" and "finding". These searches are all going to throw up a lot of red herrings, and it'll require some patience and some time and some effort to read through their initial posts to find the right threads, but it can be very worthwhile because there's a real wealth of experience in there, waiting to be tapped. And you're going to learn a LOT more that way than just from reading the replies in this thread.

    Good luck!
