Anyone produce videos in Camtasia for Youtube here?

Hi

I am using using Camtasia 7.1 to produce a video for upload to Youtube. (Well actually it´s just a series of images with text at the bottom)

The problem i am having is that when I create the "captions" within Camtasia and then go to render the video within youtube, the captions do not appear.

I have tried to find help on the internet but I can´t seem to find the soloution. Camtasia say it´s a problem on the youtube side.

If anyone can help shed some light on this I´d most appreciate it.

Thanks

    Hi,
Not 100% sure what you mean by "render the video in youtube".
Do you simply mean upload to YouTube.

The only way the captions can be removed would be if the video format has them in a separate "entity" to the main video i.e in Camtasia native format.

If you use Camtasia to render the videos to AVI or MP4 then the captions will all be part of the same video stream and Youtube cannot remove them.

      Thank you for your reply.
What I do is add the captions within Camtasia, click "On video", the Produce and Share, highlight "Web" (which underneath states a MPEG 4 video movie file. However, when it renders and I view it the captions are not included. I have tried the youtube share methos but still the captions do not appear.
