A newbie needs your help!!!

I own a large scale health and fitness website, a website with over 200,000 monthly unique visitors. We just came out with a huge training/nutrition/45 day fitness plan that we are trying to sell for $49.99. I am relatively new to affiliate marketing so I am hoping someone can help me. I want to find a network who will advertise my product on websites and I will take a percentage. I would even pay out $20 per sale. Is there something that does this? A CPA network? Any help would be much appreciated!

There are a lot of CPA networks that would be willing to take your product and expose it to their affiliates. Some of the biggest you should look at are CJ.com, clickbooth.com, affiliatenetwork.com, pepperjam.com - Hope that helps and good luck with your venture.

Have you been able to make it profitable with your own visitors? If you are getting 200,000 unique visitors per month then you should be first testing your offer with your own traffic and refining it until you have a killer offer. If you can't make it work on your own website then what hope do others have.

So the question is, are you already selling a heap of these courses through your own website? If the answer is NO and you are getting 200,000 uniques per month, you need to step back and slow down. Until you can make the product profitable don't go expecting affiliates to - you will just crash and burn.

      WillR is right

You got to make sure that your processes are right and your copy converts

What is your current conversion rate . Have you already sold it to some of your current subscribers ? If you have , how did that go ?

It is crucial before you expose your product to CPA affiliates , or any affiliate for that matter that you check that your copy sells well.

You would get bad press and very little affiliates to send you traffic if you don't optimise how well your website sells

If you are going to invest CPA affiliate , this is too important

Unfortunately 200,000 monthly unique visitors means nothing. Could be all freeloaders. You need to find a converting traffic.

This is also true! Test, test test, I always say amatuers guess and professionals test. You have one shot with Affiliates, if you can go to them and say:
This is how much you will make per lead/opt-in
Or the dollar per value for every lead, that is very compelling for a busy affiliate to take time on your offer. As you will love your product more than anyone else, which is great, but you need to demonstrate it converts and isn't going to harm his or her own e-mail list because of a low converting or poor quality product.

No where is he saying that his traffic does not convert.

Sounds more like an info-product (suitable for Clickbank) than something you'd sell through CPA networks. OP, have you checked out Clickbank.com? Also, of course, I agree with what has already been said about testing your sales process etc before going looking for affiliates.

200,000 vistors! Surely with that amount of traffic, even with poor skills (not saying your skills are poor!!), wouldnt some of then convert, law of averages and all that? (does this question show how wet behind the ears i am??!!) 200,000 sounds like a lot of visitors to me anyway...

the best way to excite top affiliates is to have a complete product funnel in place. If you have 200,000 visitors you should infact focus primarily on creating a product funnel instead of having just one product in your funnel. It is easy to create a funnel of products nowadays and with your traffic if you can test the value per lead on your product funnel you can get top affiliates in health niche to promote your entire funnel and send leads directly to your squeeze page.

The best part you can do to get even more attention is to create a funnel of few digital ebooks, videos, etc, there are loads of PLR content online. Create a funnel with 100% commission for this funnel, test it and offer affiliates to promote your funnel. They will be excited to promote a tested funnel with 100% commission if your funnel is making good dollar per lead and now at the backend once you get your customer list you can easily promote your existing nutrition fitness plan or even few high ticket training and coaching programs.

You can use clickbank to setup this system or even 2checkout's new global affiliates beta system can help you to setup this system in place.

    Hope this helps... Murtuza

You should look at clickbank. There are a lot of fitness products out there. Are these 200k visitors targeted? Whats the source of traffic

I agree with some of the previous posters. My first step would be converting my own traffic to sales before worrying about affiliates. On site marketing and email marketing to your webpage visitors should be your path of least resistance to selling the product.

Are you collecting emails from your 200k+ web page traffic?
      {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[4577450].message }}
  • If you are getting that 200K web page traffic, definitely collect some emails for further marketing campaigns.
