Hello all,
Me and my partners just started an online handmade crafts import company and we would like to have some feedback on the website. Please go to our website (mycraftworkdotcom) and let us know how we could improve its overall look and feel.
Thank you.

It seemed OK, the theme color fits in with the natural materials of the products. I had not seen that flash image viewer before.

I would have the phone number and address in the contact page too, it seems like a convention, some go right there to gauge a site's credibility. Do you have https encryption on your checkout page, it's sort of expected in in a legit store site.

Don't they also encrypt the contact information pages too? I understand the CC# pages are the biggie.

      Hello Webapex,
Thanks for the comments! Much appreciated. The contact page is definitely going to be redesigned and we will put more info in it. As far as encryption is concerned, I do believe all transactions are encrypted since we process all the payments through Paypal (Business account), and as soon as the costumer is done paying, he's taken back automatically to our store. Does that answer your question?
      Thanks again.

Have you looked into getting these listed on Amazon? Or are you not thinking about going in that direction?

Just a thought... and the website looks good!

      Hello Mike,
Thanks for the feedback man! And yes, we were headed in that direction in order to get some exposure at first. I will look at the Ebay/Amazon commissions on a single sale, and if it's reasonable we will definitely open a store there as well.
Also, we're glad you like the website! :-)

Even if you simply break even on the initial sale you can build a list of buyers and offer them discounts on the full price directly from your website later on...

That is true! I had one more question; it's related to Adword/Adsense. I REALLY don't want to clutter my home page with ads at this stage, but I have heard that these tools can help a lot. What do you guys think.
Thanks for all the great feedback guys, much appreciated!
