Seriously mods, why was my thread deleted?

I usually don't ask questions like this because I usually figure it's because of this or that, but this time I seriously don't understand why my thread was deleted.

My thread was titled: "Wow, PR4 in one month" and I just stated how I was excited cause my site was PR4 in one month. No affiliate links, nothing offensive or anything, just deleted the thread for no apparent reason.

You mods just trigger happy or what?

      You were told repeatedly that it was deleted because it was in the wrong section. You kept arguing with people who were trying to answer your question. Including one current moderator and two former moderators.

      This is why we don't usually explain things. People argue just to prove they can.

      I've deleted the whole string of silliness.
