Why cant you build a list using Gmail.

How about sending mass e-mails from a list using gmail instead of aweber.

Big risk to you and your business.

Question is... how did you get the emails and do you have permission to email those people? And if they gave you permission... can you prove it?

Companies like Aweber make note of when people subscribe and from what IP address. They also work to ensure your emails get delivered.

I've not read Gmails terms and services but it wouldn't surprise me if that broke them.

There are very few start up costs in Internet Marketing but, if you're serious, an autoresponder account is one of them!

lol. This reminds me of my get rich quick phase.

You know what I actually tried that a couple of years ago. I had a list of a couple hundred people (that I bought) tried to e-mail all of them an offer at once through g-mail and got all these daemon errors and I think I even got a warning, all the e-mails were pretty much sent backed to me, but all I know is no one recieved an e-mail for sure.

Right after g-mail killed my hopes and dreams, I went to search for some free autoresponders, those did'nt work that well either, too many kinks and stuff nothing worked as smooth and easy as I wanted to.

Finally gave up, and went to aweber.

VERY PLEASED and never looked back. well until now and looking back I sure didn't know what the hell I was doing lol.

Don't try to find a shortcut, when you don't even know where your going.

Why do people get paid to take a survey? How do you get paid to give one? Which is more profitable? WATCH this fascinating video of reverse engineering then building a simple survey. You Won't Believe What We Discovered!>>https://goo.gl/YtJgOR

Never blast email via your gmail. Your gmail account will be banned!

Like Big Al mentioned. You need to have the people subscribe to you list and have proof so that they can not say you are spamming them. Just a lot more convenient and safe to use an autoresponder.

If you are found out by gmail they will ban you into the wilderness. yes!

Ok, lets sit down and have a chat for a minute.

For starters, if you are going to take this whole online thing seriously, you need to start building a list.

But first, if you are going to treat this like a real business, and not a hobby or some shmuck money spinner, then you need to get an autoresponder.

I mean serioulsy, its only $29 bucks a month. What can you get for that these days.

That is like $1 a day. Ask yourself can you really afford that? :-)

I think you better try aweber. I know it cost money buy it's worth it.
Or if you want something for free. Try Mailchimp.

Whoops! Careful with mailChimp. They don't allow lists to be used for Affiliate Marketing (and a lot of other things).

If you want a free autoresponder, try ListWire.

There are so many reasons making it wrong to build a list that way!

Firstly, you don't want to send one email to 500 - or even more recipients at the same time. This means you'll be sending emails 1 by 1 which will obviously take forever.

Secondly, autoresponders have great SMTP servers so the email that you send out doesn't end up in the person's junk folder.

Thirdly, your Gmail account can be closed very easily because you're not within this TOS (at least I don't think mass email sending is in this TOS).

Again, there are so many reasons why you build your lists with big autoresponders, but there are the main ones.

I'm sure you got the point.
