My Niche Site Generates Around 7,500 Unique Visitors A Month, What Would You Do With That Traffic?

So, I have a website in a competitive niche. All of the traffic is via the serps. The site is a simple review site promoting a clickbank product which pays 20 dollars per sale.

I havent really touched the site that much for a while and it generates me around $260 a month average.

Its been a consistent at that amount for about 15 months now.

However, considering its in the video gaming niche, I've been thinking, surely there is more I could do to capitalize on all the traffic.

So here is how my site is constructed:

The main page is just a review on a static HTML platform. I then have a blog on the domain where there is content around the relevant subject area. Over the course of a few years, there is about 30-40 blog posts spanning back since 2009.

Anyway, I am sitting here, wondering, surely I could do more with this site.

An idea that came to mind was to contact forum owners to recommend my site to their users. In exchange I could perhaps promote their forum via email marketing or whatever else it is they can offer...

That way I get even more targeted traffic.

Anyway, I was thinking i could build a list too, promoting Amazon, CJ, Ebay deals...

Anyway, what would you guys do in my situation to monetize off of all that traffic without it just going to the Clickbank Vendor?

Why don't you create a product in the video gaming industry and make money off it? You could also search for products which are popular in the vide gaming niche for which you can sell the product as an affiliate.

One way to find out what is hot in the video gaming niche is to use eBay Pulse. They publish the trending products for all the product niches on eBay, and you could use that as a barometer for your product search.

I have written a WSO about the gaming niche you might find useful called the Online gaming goldmine.

I would start by adding some fresh new content, get a twitter account and facebook fan page account and get followers from your niche. ebay and Amazon products are great for your site. Is there a different offer other then Clickbank one that might be better or updated.

Pay kids next door to play game, interview him, package it as product. Sell it.

Ezines can be your options, where you actually use part of your money to get an autoresponder to build list and send them regular updates of your articles that are game related. Inside the ezine you can actually have some ads related to your clickbank products or whatever to your subscriber. WHen you get a list of 1000s, other companies in the internet might be interested in advertising in your ezine so make a great deal out of it.

Try selling it on Flippa . com

You could easily fetch up to $2000, maybe $3000, if you show evidence of traffic and income!!

Good luck and keep us updated!

why not diversify since you currently are only earning from clickbank. Put up adsense on the site, and also try out some CPA offers such as email submits. There are tons of CPA offers that will grab the attention of your video game niche visitors.

Create a list...and give them regular quality information related to the niche. Look for products you can push as an affiliate and maybe as the owner. Maintain a good relation with your niche and you'll find it profitable.
