I was actually looking to get a wireless headset but couldn't find them anywhere. Do you know how awesome it would be to be walking around doing an article...
Now you just made me HAVE to find a wireless headset.. Anyone know if Logitech makes them? |

Not knocking DNS or using text-to-speech, I'm sure it's a great time saver especially with the obvious improvements, just another take for those wanting that...
DNS might be a stretch for you cashwise at $190+ (that's on their current site), you could probably get it cheaper elsewhere, still... if you're just over broke and still want to get into article marketing, simply record yourself talking and have that transcribed. It's cheaper (to start) at about $1.5/minute (going rate). When you have some cash from AM/IM then you could shell out for DNS et al.. Going the transcription route has the added advantage of letting yourself GO when you talk, with DNS it may be slower to "type" cos you have to wait for DNS to catch up etc. Anyway, using DNS to "type" anything... articles, ebooks, warrior posts is a great tip that's been shared here before but lost in the infoclouds, it's good to see it used live. Kunle PS: Omar, maybe you can make a video of you using DNS with a screen recorder instead of an actual cam so viewers can see exactly how accurate it is etc. Thanks for the share. |

Great video Omar! I've just discovered Dragon Naturally Speaking and I'm having a blast with it (writing articles has never been easier!) and you explain how to use it very well! Kunle makes a good point that is a bit expensive, but its thoroughly worth the price for sure. Top post!

Found this video on Nuance's web site... Nuance News
From all indications, DNS does more than simply type, it's a virtual desktop assistant that can run web searches as well as type and open up new programs on your system. That's something I've always wanted but it hadn't yet been perfected when I was a toddler IMer, good to see this around while I'm senile ![]() Samuel, DNS would definitely be worth the price (if you can afford it), I will be going for it myself especially if it does a whole lot more than typing and "types" as fast as displayed in above video. Yep, would definitely be worth it. |

Seems like an easier process to writing articles for sure, especially if you like talking like me!
The program your using seems very comprehensive, I hope the price tag isn't too much, but I guess it would be worth it though. Still using the old fashioned way of writing articles, rearranging and sorting and writing from scratch. Nice video, thank you!

Wow, simply amazing!
This tool is ridiculously cool and useful! ![]() Thank you very much for sharing it is deeply appreciated! Quote:
The worse the article is the better, you do not want people to focus on how talented of a writer you are (except if your a copywriter) ... you want to focus on only conveying the message and getting the click. Here's some quick tips to writing & structuring a good converting article: #1. Keyword Research: Be realistic and go for a targeted keywords related to your niche and write them down and make an article for each. To get good keywords use free tools such as GOOGLE KEYWORD or SEO BOOK KEYWORD TOOLS for research. #2. Write an Article - Keep the article between 350-500 words. #3. Steps to Structuring a Good Article: 1- What is it? (Explain what the offer or service is) 2- How did you learn about it? 3- How will it make their life better? 4- Where can they get it? #4. Keywords, Keywords, Keywords: 1- Focus on 1 keyword per-article. 2- Keyword must be in title. (Preferably last word of the title) 3- Mention the KEYWORD 2-3 times per 100 words. 4- Keyword MUST be the last word of the title. (Example: I highly recommend XXXXXXXX) #5. Submit the article to SEVERAL directories. #6. Submit the article to SEVERAL Press Release directories. ...Ok, I can go on and on but this is enough for some great results... These simple steps will ensure you get the traffic you want from your articles and matched up with the power of the "Dragon Natural Speaker 10"...I can only imagine the results it will produce! Good Luck with all your online ventures! (Thanks again dude for sharing this powerful tool!) -Alex Kaplo | |

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but Vista comes with a great voice recognition program. My housemate has Singstar and I just use the microphones from that - they are much better than cheap headsets!

Great post Omar, it seems there is now an easier way to accomplish writing articles without even using your hands! If you're a irrepressibly chatty person like me it makes things much easier, I'm just wondering how much the software is? I'm sure it would be worth price, but do I need any additional tools to go with it? Thanks for the tip mplatts, I'll have a look at vista's options though!

Nice post Omar! It seems there are continually easier ways to make articles and this is no exception. I guess it helps if you have a general idea and a summation of what you want to convey first before putting pen to paper, or should I say mouth to mike! Nice Post!

I tried to google for the best price for this software. There are so many versions and types ... which is the right one to get? And how much does it costs?

Can anyone point out exactly which version of DNS to get? I know it's DNS ver.10 but when I looked at the main website, there are a ton of DNS ver 10 and they are all different.
Please point out a link if you have one. Thanks |

Dragon is definitely a great piece of software. Of course you have to play with it at first to get the full functionality. Over time it adapts to your speaking style

I think I type faster than I speak (and correct) with DNS 10P but as another poster said, it is so much easier to compose an artivcle as you're leaned back in your chair than hunched over keyboard. As with any tool, it takes some work to get it going.
I found DNS 10 Preferred on eBay for $80. I think a wireless headset would be wonderful! Question: do many people just compose and submit in EZA as he did? You don't see any need to save the document to hard drive? |

I also have and use DNS 10. Fine program, in my opinion. However, in order to use it efficiently, it is necessary to use the training material to properly "train" it to your speech. I will mention, as well, that DNS also works for on the fly with WordPress blog posts. That is, DNS will function with your WP word processer. However, in my experience, DNS can also be slow. I run XP with 2 gigs of memory, and I find that sometimes its easier for me to type out my blog post or article than try to speak it out.

Hey Omar,
Great preview of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I've personally used the preferred version as well. One warning for those who plans to purchase this cool software: It takes some time to train the program to recognize your voice. So you've got to be patient. ![]() My 2 cents, Dominic Tay |

Yeah I just got my copy of DNS and like some other posts here I think I type faster than I speak but I believe that if I use it enough times I'll have no problem laying out articles while relaxed in my chair
So I recommend itAnd yeah, the software needs time to recognize your speech pattern, but after that it's all gravy baby XD |

Here's my 2 cents worth:
I tried to use DNS 10 but it won't work on vista. (32 bit) So I tried using the speech recognition for Vista (it comes free with Vista) - I trained it up again and again - gave it several days but I got so frustrated, I nearly hurt my computer! It could have been that I was typing a technical article, but boy oh boy, did I waste some hours. |
