My New Travel Deals Website--Need Some Help

So I launched my site InsiderTrips (Dot) Com a little while back. We sell travel deals in a Groupon, Living Social sort of format.

Our initial success was very very slow, and I think it was mainly due to trying to serve the entire US with too small of subscriber base.

I have been considering trying to re-focus efforts on a specific geographic region, but I'm still trying to figure out the best ways to try and build up the subscriber base quickly. Because i guess I really don't have much of a business unless people are interested in the deals.

I'd love to hear from anyone who might have some constructive criticism, ideas, thoughts or any potential ways for me to get out of this rut.

Please feel free to chime in or PM me with any comments.

Thanks!

Your biggest problem is that forced opt-in box that requires you to create an account before accessing the site. No one knows anything about the site yet you're forcing them to create an account.

You have to allow them to access the site and give them information about what your site is, what you offer and why it benefits them to create an account first.

I think you have a really nice site. Some of the pages with the videos may load a little bit slow. Could be a problem with slow internet connections.
