Getting started feedback.

Hi,

I've been working as a freelance online copywriter and web content provider for a while. I've written articles, ebooks, squeeze pages, email lists, newsletters, product reviews, SEO content, among other things.

I haven't really had to do much advertising. Most business came from word of mouth. Clients telling other clients, etc.

One client told me about Warrior Forum. He said it was a great place for me to meet people who would be interested in my services, expand my portfolio, and take my game to the next level.

So I joined, posted an ad here on warrior forum (it won't let be post the link here, but you can search for it if you want to see it. It's called "I am the Chuck Norris of Copywriting)

And then waited for the response....which was...crickets. I hardly got any response and zero business from it.

How do I get started making money on WF? I am very talented, and I have a lot to offer fellow warriors. It would seem obvious that I need to do something differently in order to generate business. But what?

Also are there other sites to sell my services on as well? It may not be wise to put my eggs solely in the WF basket.

Thanks for the feedback.

With forums, the idea is not to sell - it is to build relationships.

Start by answering people's questions about web copy and make sure you reply to all the people who want feedback on their web site or lead capture page.

Over time, if people like your approach and helpfulness, you will become a resource they may want to tap.

What are your price? Do you take 50$ for an article or 1$? It means a lot when having to give you tips on where to find customers.
