Building A Landing Page

Does forum posting.. and article marketing linking to your landing page work? I know the fastest way to do it is paid traffic but just wondering if this still works..

    Yes, any kind of traffic generation would work. Forum posting can be very effective if you target the biggest forums in your market. Make sure not to spam at the beginning and create valuable posts. Stick to 20-30 posts a day and you should see steady traffic coming in weeks. Just try it out!

    Yes; many of us here are making our livings this way.

    The extent to which it works depends on how targeted the traffic is. As long as your article marketing gets your articles in front of well targeted traffic (and your forum posts are in well-attended forums relevant to the niche you're in which you're targeting traffic) it's a very viable way of building a successful internet marketing business.

    I once put up a forum posting in a forum of 500,000 members. I ended up getting 100 clients who were paying $40 a month for a service I ran for two years.

    It proves what someone here said earlier. Use forum posts in forums relevant to your business and you will see a bump in traffic. But this is a slower method than using paid traffic. My advice is that you combine both, and use targeted placement for your paid ads.

    A big part of forum posting is how people perceive you. If you are helpful and provide good advice, they they may want to know more and click on your profile or signature links.

    But if your messages are sales oriented or just "me too" messages, people have no reason to click.

    You can get traffic surprisingly quickly from both article and forum marketing. That said, PPC campaigns are usually better if you want to get an overall feel of how organic traffic will convert.
