Hi, I thought it would just share with people looking to "make money" with article writing, that it is possible. I am new to the IM arena, so wanted to run a little experiment and see how much I could "make" in a short period of time. Now, I don't know if you could say you would necessarily "get rich quick" from it. (I've probably invested 20 hours so far, however that includes researching, understanding this market, and basically figuring out how to "make money" from writing articles), but I have basically made (netted) about $102.50 so far. Oh yes, it's taken me about a week and a half so far to achieve this goal. Anyways, I thought I would you share with people looking for ideas on how to generate income, and just let them know that yes, actually you can make money from article writing with a little bit of work and elbow grease I hope this story will be a little bit of an inspiration if you are brand spanking new to the IM arena ![]() Cheers, Johnathan |

I'm sure newbies would like you to share the specific steps you took to get you there. TomG Quote:

Awesome stuff. Yes, article writing helps. Did you write articles and sell them, or submit your articles to directories and sell affiliate products from it.

I don't see making $102.50 from a week and a half worth of work as a particularly good thing going foward, unless you can leverage other people's time properly. After all, that's WAAAY below minimum wage ;-( So I think you need to work out how to repeat the process, without repeating the time spent yourself, otherwise you'll end up a slave to the system...just like a traditional employee working for someone else. | |

Hi Guys, thanks -- answering a few questions: Tom & Mark, actually I am trying a combination of a few different ways (keeping my own articles & getting google adsense revenue, selling articles, and then as well as articles with affiliate products (although I haven`t yet generated anything from that -- I am using clickbank, but recently been reading about everyone complaining about clickbank so expect that will probably just be a temporary thing. I was actually expecting that I should have made at least 2-3 clickbanks sales so far based on traffic, etc). Nick, thanks for the advice Yes, I am totally finding that out to be true. (It actually sometimes does seem like "work" ) However, I wanted to do it from the "ground up", so that I could understand the entire process involved. (I.e., if I never did the writing myself, then I wouldn't really understand the entire market, and it might be more challenging to make wise decisions). It's kind of like, if you want to run a world class hotel chain, then you should make sure you've done every job in it, from cleaning toilets, to being a concierge, to an actual customer, and then finally the actual hotel manager, and then the owner of a great hotel chain. Otherwise you can quickly lose "touch" with what is important/what the market wants, etc, and you may not fully understand your business to make the best/most accurate business decisions. |

| For someone that's just starting out, this is particularly a good thing. There are some people that have been article marketing for months and havent seen a dime at all. Just simply wash, rinse and repeat (don't remember who I heard that from lol) Good luck and God Bless |

Awesome job! For your first week and a half, that is great! Article writing has a cumulative effect over time....if you keep consistantly doing it, the more traffic you will get and the more sales you will generate. Congrats!

It is great that you took action so quickly! Most people will spend months asking how to do this and that before actually getting around to trying to make money. Great Job! |

That is great. Way to take action and start earning. For just starting out a week and a half ago that is pretty good. Take what you have learned and build upon it. Chuck |
