Amazon Affiliate Question?

Hey guys, I wanted to get some insight onto how well you think this page might convert:
Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD 7″ DVD AV Receiver: Review- Izzile.com

I just want honest opinions on how good do you this page is in terms of getting people to click our Affiliate link, and is it good or at average with other people's sites?

Not the whole site as a whole, just when you arrive at this one specific page.
Any honest opinions appreciated.

    Hi George!

    Content looks excellent!

    Not to split hairs but I would move your date and category area (which is in blue at the top) toward the bottom if possible or remove it altogether....Keep your reader's focus on the page....You don't want clicks around the top of your post unless for some reason you had adsense!

    I agree with Michael because first thing I did was to click on Product by Categories. If I really a buyer, I would want to know what else also do you have along with what I want as an accessories, etc. But your Product by Categories page is almost blank which is negative to the buyer and will go away from your site because you have not supported his requirement.

    Remember, buyer will not only see your home page. Aggressive buyers will obviously look for something else too. I hope you got my point.

      Just another small thing, but i think the font is too light.

      Maybe you should bold the text that says "Click here for the full information:" or bold the affiliate link as well. It's not entirely obvious where I am supposed to click.

      Concentrate on above the fold as most people click straight away, have a capture statement not "click on the picture" instead use Amazon's brand name like "todays best price is from Amazon at over xx% off"

    For me, the two images at the top of the review are too small.

    I don't personally like the words "click the picture" and I don't like it at the beginning. Just make the image clickable with your link.

    Also, I find the dynamic images in the side bar distracting.

      I agree that the "click the picture" is a bit disturbing, but you would be surprised how many visitors don't have a clue about that you can actually click a picture to get to a different page or click a link which is not underlined (therefore doesn't look like one) to get somewhere.

        Thanks, I've personally tested this before, and found out the widgets, though distracting, can really help in terms of conversion. Cool idea about the Amazon discount prices, might try that.

        Thanks for the opinion, though I think the fact that dynamic images are distracting is a good thing. I just hope it's not overwhelming, I did try not to make them too big- if they indeed do catch the eye, that is exactly what I am looking for. But of course, I don't want people leaving if they get annoyed. Thanks for the opinion.

        Yes, that is indeed why I put it down. Glad you agreed. I also did it because the first picture is clickable, and will not take you anywhere. That's why I put this there so that people don't forget to click (since they will think that this image will not work as well).
