Which payment processor do you use ?

Hello,

Just wanted to know from you all which payment processor do you use for your IM purpose, affiliate marketing, or whatever you do.

I have heard a lot of horror stories about Paypal, so am not sure whether to use Paypal to receive payments.

Thanks in advance.

Used paypal for years and never had any problems. But there are plenty of people that have or at least some stories at least.

I have been using Plimus for some time now. No "Paypal-style" horror stories.

Plimus is good, Paypal is tops in my books. The key is to try and keep them in the loop. If you know you are going to have a rush of payment that are not normal with your account, let them know ahead of time. The horror stories heard are the Product Launches that generate a ton of sales in a short period of time, it can trigger a flag on your account.

    The biggest problem with Paypal
is that it is so well known
    that buyers TRUST it
and don't hesitate to use it

    whereas the lesser-known companies
may cost you sales due fear

so .. you are kinda "forced" to use
Paypal IF your market is mainly
    internet novices and your product
will be one of their first online purchases.

Someone who is selling to seasoned
internet buyers ( like many of the people
on this forum who are no longer "paranoid"
about putting their credit card number into
a website purchase form ) would be more
receptive to buying through another means.

Well, when it comes to payment, the first thing that hit our mind is paypal. I have always used paypal without any problem although the transactions are very low but high value. It has helped me till now without any headache.

However, there are many others like plimus, alertpay or liberty reserve, etc.

I Use Alertpay and Paypal. I liked paypal because I could withdraw money directly to the bank, but they have now limited my account and asking to attach a credit card which I don't have. I have also been using Alertpay for the past two years and never had a problem with them till date. It would be great if people start accepting Alertpay and other processors along with paypal, so that more people could get opportunity to sell and purchase in the internet market.
Can We attach a friends credit card and take up the limits of paypal ?

I've been using PayPal for a while to receive affiliate payments but I'm not really convinced that I should use them for collecting payments for the products I'm soon about to release - I've heard too many horror stories...

I'll probably start with Plimus and see how that works.
