Has anyone used a press release software? If so what did you think of it? I am thinking of buying the one called "15000 media contacts"

I've used press releases in the past with limited success, the one I used was Pressbot.

I quickly checked out 15000 media contacts, no personal experience with it specifically. My gut tells me it may not deliver on its promises.

    1 Amazon Review:

Only about 15%-20% of the contacts are actually valid, my mailbox was loaded with returned emails that could not be delivered. The program won't work right and won't even bulk mail like they claim. Even took to computer stores to try and be able to mail directly from program. They claim their program does this, however nobody can get it to work. They have tech support & tech Support ignores emails....

Thanks for looking that up for me. I never would have thought of checking amazon for reviews.

Hi - how was your experience with PressBot - is it any good - can you add your own sites to it, etc?

      Thanks

All depending what you are looking to do you can check out Vocus.

They have the TOP DOG offline press release marketing software to be found according to my research, but access will set you back high 4 figures per year

I second Vocus. We use them where I work and they are PHENOMENAL. I mean absolutely phenomenal. I love everything about it. Call up PRWeb and play hard to get for a couple of months. They should then be along to contact you with a "pilot" program for UNLIMITED (restricted to one per day) press release for a year for an amazing price.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

With Vocus- do you know of anywhere people have a shared account- or rent out it's use lets say? Tried looking on Fiverr.com - but have had no such luck.

PRweb (Vocus) - does seem to be the ideal platform to get noticed by Media.

        Any ideas would be great!

        Cheers

It is always better to use an automated press release submission software than using a email blaster. I tried one email blaster software and it filled my inbox with "recipient email address invalid" return emails. After that I used the press release submission software: Press Release Submitter - The Best Online Marketing Software and have got excellent results (both direct traffic from clicks and from google ranks) because the submission software do not spam inbox and genuinely publishes your content to various websites along with hyperlinks which gets you direct visitors from content hyperlinks and from google search rankings.

"Thanks" me if you liked this information.

I used Pressbot from Incansoft tools.

Here is my screenshot experience that their main site do not provide:

Any type of automated press release software will do more harm to your site than good.

Press releases are going to get the smack down soon enough, if not already.

There's far too much garbage out there.

Keep your money and focus your efforts onsite.
