Argg! PayPal from a BUYER perspective

ok I have been with PayPal for probably 10 years. l sell and buy through them, use the debit card, etc. I don't do auctions. I get stock photo payments there, sell products and services directly and get some some affiliate payments there. I love them and I love the security precautions they used to take.

In the past two months however, almost every purchase l make with my card- especially wso purchases- creates an instant flag and lock. I am forced to either call the damn security line or go through the whole password change, security question and email verification routine.

Today they added insult to injury by opening a dispute on one of my legitimate purchase, and there is no way for me to add a note explaining that its valid. I also cant close it.

Between banks getting shutdown all over the place and PP going off the deep end I'm really starting to wonder how anybody is expected to buy or sell anything in the near future.

    I'm not surprised.

I got kicked out of paypal and had payments REVERSED that I made. Now - this isn't about that - that's just the side story.

The main story here is that hostgator contacts me and asks what is up. I then tell them my story and they say no worries, this happens all the time.

    It happens all the time?

Hostgator is USED to dealing with paypal cutting off their customers payments without the customers authorization!

I thought that was pretty crazy.
