Which ranks better hubpages or squidoo?

HI, looking for you opinion here.

I want to promote an affiliate program as a bit of an experiment. Now currently all my budget has gone on my other new site at the moment, so I am going to do this all with free methods of promotion.

I have found a nice product with a reasonable amount of daily searches, but only 403 sites optimising for "productname review", so I think is should be fairly simple to grab the top spot in google for this one. My aim is to use either hub pages or squidoo as my review site and build links to it with articles free blogs etc.

so my question warriors is in your opinion which does google like better at the moment hub pages or squidoo??

    i think google is much more comfortable with squidoo than hubpages.

    i suspect squidoo too, however hubpages nofollows a lot of links thus keeping page rank for themselves, I have seen some hubpages out rank squidoo.

      I would say Squidoo as well. I've had alot more success with Squidoo than I have with Hubpages.

        I don't know, but my recent hubpage dominated my squidoo.
        It was a fair pistol to pistol fight, but the hubpage won!

    Yep, the general wisdom is that Squidoo pages link better than Hubpage pages. But you know what, they're both so easy to use, why not create pages on both?
