is it a good idea to send emails to your subscribers from a gmail,yahoo address?
or is it better to use an email address with your own domain?

    There are limits to how many you can send with Free email providers.

    I would use your own domain but perhaps through a 3rd party service like Aweber.

    if you buy a hosting with hostgator, they allow upto 500 emails per hour. If you are planning to send emails a lot, that would be the good route to choose.

    You should never use a gmail address to send email to your subscribers. It is seen as less legitimate than a dedicated email from your own domain.

    As MarkJones recommended, choose a proven email service like aweber, mailchimp, icontact or constantcontact to make sure all of your emails get delivered.

    (If you're just starting out, I recommend mailchimp out of those 4 because it is free to start)

    Get a autoresponder like Aweber, this way you can have emails sent automatically. Your host services provide you with autoresponders but not email opt in forms.

    This would allow you to scale your business further. Its a investment in yourself for the long term
